    BR: I thought we played very well. We had to work for it. Hamilton have had some difficult results but they were very resolute. We created a lot of chances, didn’t quite finish them all, but a very good win for us. Really pleased.”

    BR on
    @Scotty_Sinclair
    : “You see it in his body language, the aggression in his game. His consistency these last few months has been excellent. He will always score a goal. You see his confidence is at a really high level.”

    BR: “I thought we were very strong. We try to be very compact as a team and at that moment where we had to show a bit of pace, at the back, we did that so we have another clean sheet.

    BR on the transfer window: “We know where we want to improve. We’ll have to wait and see what we can get done.“

    We need a RB, its been years, yet Rodgers is stating he needs to wait and see what can be done. Not good enough.

    What exactly do you expect him to say?

    We never leak transfer deals etc.
    He's clearly stated he knows there is the need for improvement and we are trying. Time will tell if we try hard enough.

    But he is hardly about to sit down and say "aye, we are looking at signing 3 players named x, y, z, and you'll see them at 12:45 on Tuesday afternoon"

    It is only ambiguous if you are unfamiliar with rhetoric (or reading).

    Look up ‘to shirk’.

    Getting a bit pedantic :50:

    I suppose the question at hand is whether that original post was truly an attempt at some degree of hyperbole or irony. Who knows.

    Regardless, it was a moot contribution whether it was intended that way or not.

    I love how your whole argument is on the basis of you posting "we are trying"… "Time will tell if we try hard enough"… When we have been waiting for YEARS of replacing a RB. Your post is just nothing more than apologist pish.
