A long time ago obviously, but does anyone remember roughly the turnout that MON got back in the day at his unveiling?

    Surely wasn't close to 13k?

Pure show business is right ! Guy is a class act and i genuinely felt a lump in my throat watching this . We have raised the bar and are fully galvanised as a support for the first time in a long time . Onwards and upwards under Brendan .

Crow, you're my favourite member of this fair forum. Always, when I'm in search of some video or photos of events of the day, I can ALWAYS rely on your to come up with the goods. ON YERSEL!!!

Oh, and I will admit to a few tears. Chills all over there when he mentioned Tommy Burns... to pause, as the Celtic fans applauded for a full minute near on in respect... I lost my dad to Motor Neurone Disease in 2005, a firm and committed Celtic fan, and when I laid him I also on the same day visited Tommy's Grave to pay my respects. Two great men, gone - never forgotten, they'll never walk alone.

Brendan Rodgers will be a hero just like Martin. I am so proud of my club for getting not only such a real Celtic man on board, but for getting a manager with stock and pedigree.

So jealous of the bhoys and ghirls at Paradise today. Can't wait for next season... I'm even gonna finally subscribe to Celtic TV. That way, a) it's always Summer and b) I can follow Brendan's first season in close quarters every step of the way.

Hail hail, and let the good times roll!!

Not a chance, it was outside the stadium the fans were - about 400-500.

Some buzz that was. Great turnout, great atmosphere and hopefully a great appointment.

Can't wait for him to put his stamp on the team.

Was thinking that myself, couldn't remember the stadium being opened for a manager before but MON would have been the most likely before Rodgers :50:

It's no really sunk in that we have a manager who won premier league manager of the year and narrowly lost out on the title. Fantastic!

Not sure always thought MONs was more off the cuff , Rodgers unveiling was good but nothing will ever be as iconic as MONs understatement of the decade; 'I will do everything I can to bring success to this football club' especially after the oldco's decade of success against us. Hope I am proven wrong though!

    Off topic a little.

Student season tickets... Do they accept an NUS card as proof?

Also, how much would it be including the rangers games (If anyone knows)?

    Cheers.

    Kind regards,

    Mr Boaby.

Rodgers would not have signed for us if he didn't have assurances about his budget. I think DD and PL have pulled off a master stroke here.

    Hail hail Brendan

    Hail hail Dermot

    Hail hail Pistol Pete
