This month is crucial for Rodgers, if he doesn’t get the money he needs then I think he’ll chuck it at the end of the season.

He's a bit lucky that there's so much tension towards the board about signings, because his signing record is atrocious. This window is massive and he must improve.

I said months ago that Brendan was at it with the chopping and changing of the team, basically saying to the board ''this is what you've left us with''.

I still believe this is true, right before the transfer window in the biggest domestic match of the season we put out that line up and lose the match. Not just lose it, but get played off the park. Brendan is making a statement to the board, and without quality signings this window, there is a real chance we will lose the league and Brendan will be away.

Call me paranoid if you like, but we don't go from being double treble winners to suddenly not being able to string two passes together.

Yeah it was definitely all wrong. Mikey up front was a big red flag too. It crossed my mind that Brendans tactics had to be diliberate and if not negligent.

A guy I sit beside at the game made the same comment.

I did find it quite odd that John James ran an article on his site 36 hours before our game at Tynecastle that gave the correct starting XI and said it was to make a statement to the board about the state of the squad.

If there's any truth to it then it's a strange way to make a statement given that he signed Gamboa, Hendry, Hayes and Kouassi who played that day.

His signings are truly gash. Can I almost guarantee his next one will be some wee guy on loan that will be given about 65mins and punted into the reserves.

For anyone saying ‘his signings are truly gash’ - look at this. Sure - a lot of duds - but also many good additions. It’s been a mixed bag.

The list is honestly right there :56: Dembele was coming before Rodgers. So the loans of Benko and Roberts were his best bits of business lol

So because you disagree with a post by saying ‘No they are not’ we’ve just to move along?

Just checking to make sure I don’t make the same mistake.

    They’re not

There’s no argument to be had there with this idiotic ‘all his signings are pish’ from this Lewis moron.

I look at his signings as a bit like a tin of roses where almost all of them bar the odd one are coconut or coffee cream.

Which is fair enough. I myself think it’s been a mixed bag with some * - but I don’t think ALL are pish - like your lewis1239’s or whatever

I also happen to think that he can’t afford to sign pish, now. It’s his first window where he has a genuine challenge breathing down his neck. It’s going to be interesting. All the * writing it off on Jan 4th would be better served waiting to spout their * Jan 31.

People are writing off due to the last 3 transfer windows. Only players of note that have come are Benko, Edouard and Ntcham. No rumours of experience either just developing talent.
