If Tierney was fit he would’ve played, yes moving our best midfielder to left back didn’t help, but far too many players shat the bed that’s what cost us.

    This.
Trying to credit BR with this level of 'genius' is laughable.

The irony of you advising someone to think before they post, when you have recently posted "just mixed up my Belgian with my French" is a belter. Although I'm sure this irony is lost on you.

I can't prove you are definitely wrong, because there's no way to know for sure what is going on in someone else's head; but we can go with the balance of probabilities:

    1) Brendan screwed up in a similar manner to how he occasionally has before in Europe and in less important domestivc games, but this was the first time it's happened in a big domestic game and let's hope it is a learning curve for him.

    2) Brendan had a machiavellian scheme to force the board to back him by losing to our most hated rivals. Presumably Motherwell and Hibs were dressed rehearsals to fine tune the plan and make sure we didn't screw it up by not losing.

A priori (and we have to go on a priori probabilities, because there's absolutely no evidence either way), which seems far, far more likely?

The pre match huns thread, don't think anyone called the formation in the team selections correctly. * show of a performance so was the Hibs game. Hope to * after this break we hit decent form show what we are capable of.

Nae mare * about, so many times this season have watched the hoops and thought what a team only a week later watching and thinking that was utter *. One extreme to another so inconsistent and that is what ultimately costs titles.

BR needs to get this team ticking proper, we should be romping this league :39:

To come on spouting pish about we will see come end of January. I hope it all comes together and we will strengthen in all departments needed. But to shoot down posters for their opinions and demanding proof to be convinced. Aye right o. Especially when your own assessment is the signings that the daily record or Twitter accounts have said we are interested in. All those names bandied about and only one is through the door signed. How many times in the last few windows have we been let down by the board? And then the suggestion that a Celtic manager threw a game against the Huns. I despair sometimes.

I'm sure someone posted on here after the huns game that it wouldn't surprise them if police Scotland asked Rodgers to throw the match in fear of the huns kicking off. :56:

Biggest reason for this is getting early goals ,since we have lost too many goal scorers from our team ,if we have not scored early then teams have something to hold and dig in ,this is creating an inconsistent look to the team and exposes the defence more as the pressure goes on them to not lose a goal .

I get angry when I look at a list of Rodgers signings.

He’s given us 2 fantastic seasons but the poor recruitment is starting to catch up with us now...

Why the * did he bring Izzy back and why did he think Hendry was good enough? Then you have Compper, Benyu, Gamboa to comprehend as well. Very very poor.

Still putting a winning trophy machine on the park - he's not lost one yet despite some poor signings wich every club has.
Until that changes who are we to question ...

This transfer window needs to be good. BR has to get it right. No more projects. We need quality that will improve the 1st team not players who will increase the squad numbers but lack quality.

Seriously needs to get the finger out this window, signings haven't been up to scratch since his first window and we are in real danger of * the league if we don't

I think he along with the board have become complacent, resting on their laurels. Not intentionally but it can happen. I hope the last game and a look at the table will shake them from their slumber but to be honest going by Rodgers post match and the boards track record I can't see it. Suspect January will bring a few more youngsters to add to the Rodgers creche with important positions left unaddressed, a photo album of 'all smiles' pics from the Dubai training camp, the board looking at the wage bill & thinking they've done their part & a couple of intelligent sounding & measured Rodgers interviews. Roll on Febuary were performances will again swing from one extreme to the other with shouts of 'the summer window is a huge one for us' and so on. As per.

Seen it that often we could write the script! The board not only views us as being gullible they simply don't give a * what we think. They know that fans by and large will stick with the team win or lose but if we get anywhere near Sevco standards thwy will have overplayed their hand.

When Brendan Rodgers came in he said he only wanted to sign players with quality and he would not sign players to make up the numbers. So far the squad players outweigh the quality.

Exactly this for me......while I do understand BR has a passion for the development of young players I'm of the mind that this has to be done without jeopardizing what's at stake.....we need immediate impact from any transfers we get in.....further to this though.....is BR too hung up in this modus operandi thus clouding his judgement of just how good the potential player needs to be when we get him.....personally I think there's a very big ego at play here somewhere.
