BR:It’s always a sore one if you lose a late goal. We have no one to blame bar ourselves. We can’t complain.”

BR: “I’d have been disappointed to draw the game but to actually lose is bitterly disappointing.”

BR: “It was a scrappy game but I still felt we had the better moments and more control over the game but two basic situations cost us.

BR: “I take responsibility. We made the changes to try and get that energy and brightness and sharpness that may not be there if you’ve played late on a Thursday night.”

BR: “I thought we mixed our game up fairly well at times today. It was never going to be a good football game on this surface but we wanted to try and find ways to win and we ended up getting in front and from there were pretty comfortable.

BR: “It hasn’t been a great start to the campaign but we have to accept that. We’re the only ones who can make it better by playing better and getting more consistent results. It’s been very bitty but we have to go away and work and see where we can be better.

BR: “Unfortunately, in the warm-up Filip felt his Achilles. He felt it tightens up so he wasn’t fit to play. Hopefully it’s not too bad. He’s felt a sensation and, rightly, didn’t want to risk it.”

BR: “We have to go away and work hard on the basics because it’s the basics that cost us today.”

Barry Bannan ran the midfield against them yesterday, like John Fleck the week before.

McGinn isn’t the answer and never has been.

We would be in the exact same position we are right now had Mcginn signed. If people think otherwise they are delusional.

Rodgers walking tight rope just now. We’ve been bang average since last season and Rodgers looking decreasignly interested game by game.

Made several changes today but asked them to set up the same way and play the same way. Absolutely mystifying. Pass ourselves to death.

He’s earned himself time but this has been a completely abysmal season so far. Livingston on more points than us and the Huns (who apparently had their worst start to the season in 29 years) are in line to go above us as their game stands.

I hope I’m wrong but I am not optimistic about Rodgers being able to turn this around.

Aye, McGinn would have been a great addition to the squad, not the first 11 the squad.

But him not signing doesn't excuse what's been happening to our entire squad.

There is clearly more to this.

Brendan is done by the looks of things. Unable to change. Unable to beat muck like killie in 4 attempts. Unable to take responsibility. Even on paper we look far weaker than the 16/17 Team and most of that team was inherited.

Alex McLeish won the cup double in 6 months in 01-02. The treble in 02-03 with most of advocaats players. He then said "judge me on my own signings"
He signed ostenstad capucho vanoli and so on.

You can tell when things are not right with a team. It was clear with Strachan team especially in the last season. You knew with deilas team as well. I don't feel good in anyway about the way we've played since Jan. The standard of player is in decline. The game plan is predictable and easy to get results against. It HAS to change or we don't win the league.

We have quality players all over the pitch and sitting on the bench. We suddenly don't become bad players or a bad team over night, so something isn't working. We cannot have this many players off form at the same time so it is either in the coaching or the tactics. Rodgers downfall is is stubbornness to change, the same rigid, one dimensional, predictable setup is not working anymore. Teams have us sussed out. You can look at it positively that Rodgers system in his first season has made managers question their own tactics. Defensively he has made other teams step up and become better thanks to our system. But he has to move on, he has to find away to combat these defences. Their was a lack of belief in our team today. At 1-1 with 15 minutes to go we resorted to sideways, backwards passes with no movement in front. There was no belief that we could go on and win the game. This constant changing the team doesn't help. every league game home or away needs our strongest starting 11. Never mind resting players after Europe, at this time and the form we are in, the League is priority, Europe will take care of itself, if we play a weakened team in Europe to preserve the League so be it. These performances stop at Rodgers door, yes he deserves time and respect but he has to starting earning that salary he is on.

He’s chucked it since the whole Arsenal link.

He actually thought he was in with a serious chance of it.

If he’s actually said that * about ‘panic’ and ‘alarming’ he should walk. Absolute shitebag behaviour.

No chance of him walking without that payoff though...

    1 screamer of a goal doesn't make you a midfield maestro !!

Brendan, why does lustig still play? He completely negates the right hand side.how can you be in so much denial when the proof is so glaringly obvious, lustig is past it as well as sinclair.

50m wage bill v killies what? 2m? regardless of any result the performances on the park are not acceptable. Jock Steins quote is quite fitting-

"Football is nothing without fans." Jock Stein "Without fans who pay at the turnstile, football is nothing. Sometimes we are inclined to forget that. The only chance of bringing them into stadiums is if they are entertained by what happens on the football field

Wonder how many of our fans found that entertaining ? again regardless of a win, draw or loss we want to see good attacking football. Not one person I know cares about if so and so gets 91% pass completion rate , who gives a flying * when more than half their passes go backwards?

Agree Tony, resting players at this point of the season is quite baffling really considering what player has worked their * off hard enough to earn a rest? We are hardly in a comfortable position to be starting fringe players this early on.

The transfer window has sent the whole team dolally. He should’ve outed the guys that wanted away early doors and I think the way we’ve conducted ourselves has spilled over into the start of the season.

He needs to change his system. Get two up front for the love of f.
