The whole point in Lennoxtown was to get the very best out our team and youngsters there will be gems there if not now then they will come along, Kieran Tierney is one classic example of a manager ( Ronny ) willing to develop young players give them time and attention and more importantly a chance and look at how well he has done.

 

He said that he felt comfortable with the budget that would be made available to him and that when a player became available that was affordable he would be able to make a move for him. That suggested to me that there will be slightly more leeway in the transfer market. Don't think we'll be breaking the bank or anything but it should be refreshing after the miserable sums we've spent the last couple of years.

Also mentioned a few times that we won't just be aiming for young players with resale value. Said you need a bit of both. Think Lawwell hinted at similar.

All very encouraging in my opinion.
