that all bollocks then ? its the lack of a challenge that leaves the players unmotivated

which then suggests a lack of professionalism

but what can you do we still turn it on when we must and are still going for a treble

we see down south and in spain players performing to incredible standards week in week out in england a lot of the teams are playing 3 times a week against a lot better standard of opposition

who is thowing this the players are tired bullshit out anyhow its been about for years in scottish football even that team that went and got liquidated back in 2012 used to use that excuse

professional players in scotland at the biggest clubs cant competete at their best all or most of the time because of fatigue tell that to billy mcneil and the lisbon lions who used to play replays the next * day lol

 

Gutted we couldn't build on last week's win by winning yesterday but not going to lose sleep over the result or performance. It was jaded, yes but the break has come at a good time. Anyone who scores more than 500 goals in the history of the game must've played a very similar amount of games. Not much time for a rest and all the players went for a drink after the game on a Saturday during both those players eras.

I think you're right when you say it's motivational. However, in Spain they always make sure any UCL teams play at least 3 days before their next CL game. I don't think Sky worry about that when they're planning their Super Sundays even if a team is playing the Tuesday night.

Don't think that's for rest though, it's probably more time to study tactics.

 

Find it incredible that people are questioning Brendan when the worst case scenario this season is that we have won 5 out of the last 6 domestic trophies on offer.

Look at the fixture pile up and injury load we’ve had this year. Factor in uncertainty about Dembele and Armstrong’s future and the adjustment in style to bed in the likes of Ntcham and you will surely realise that what this team are on the brink of is truly remarkable.

Wev'e drew a few more games this season but still only lost 2 games in something like 85 in all comps, that's some going in anyones book no matter wich league your playing in or budget.

we finished 3rd in the group this season wich was better than last, also beat Zenit at home and their budget dwarfs ours arguably Anderlecht too.
