I feel like I'm saying this every week, but it's remarkable what he's done in such a short space of time. So many Celtic managers fail in their first go at the qualifiers, but not Brendan.

And his domestic record is just a * joke. We've been utterly dominant. If he gets his recruitment right over the next 2-3 windows, and he continues developing players the way he has in his first 8-9 months in charge, then who knows how good he could make us?

Talking about 4 years in his interview. That'll do me.

Brendan has got so much authority about him that I am wondering about that extraordinary penalty decision by Craig Thomson yesterday. The 1st half was a serious of terrible decisions by Thomson, including their 1st goal, was he scared of Brendan commenting about him after the match.

We'll never know but I think Brendan and his back-up team are keeping an eye o the refereeing in Scotland,

He's not once mentioned the refs.

Rodgers in 10 mins, delivered more information about the game, than you hear from yer pundits who rattle on about any old * and bring nothing to the viewer.

"When teams decide to play man for man marking, they hand us the initiative."

    Simple,yet insightful.

Actually kind of agree with him.

No doubt that Rodgers commands a far higher level of respect from officials, pundits, establishment staff than a Deila or Lennon.

Refs hated Lennon and had no respect, like the rest of Scottish football, for Ronny. I think that can influence decisions, in a way, and I'm the last person to shout conspiracy.

Outwith the nonsensical hun windup merchants initial season predictions, there has been a huge shift in respect towards the club, in my opinion.

Rodgers hasn't put any pressure on them whatsoever, the last few weeks we've been getting absolutely kicked * out of with no protection from the refs. One * decision going our way, from a gash ref doesn't change that.

Your man didn't (nor did I) mention Rodgers actively putting pressure on a ref, he hasn't.

The refs are full stop utter balls. Whatever way anyone wants to put it, they are genuinely terrible at their jobs.

I just have a feeling that because our manager is someone of stature and highly respected in world football, we might get a better hand than if a no mark foreigner like Ronny or a public enemy like Lennon was in charge.

Lennon's tenure was the height of the poor refereeing (in my opinion), was that a coincidence? Not for me. The whole of Scotland hated him, I would imagine the refs weren't particularly fond either, given his nature and all the run ins.

Not saying we are now getting loads of questionable decisions in favour, but rather the notion that perhaps having someone widely respected, in a small pond, or someone (way) less antagonistic than Lenny, may help our cause better than previously.

Or maybe not, as I said, I'm generally not one for conspiracies. Suppose time will tell.

I suppose you could be right but I see zero evidence on the pitch. There probably should have been at least 4 red cards shown against opposition players in the last month alone, I certainly don't think it weighs on the mind of the likes of Andy Dallas.

I watched him in the Motherwell diets game Saturday, and he booked 4 player's in the first half alone..

Stark contrast to his performance a week before with us at home to St Johnstone where he booked 2 player's for dissent and only 1 for an actual challenge. That really is some stat for all of us who watched that game..

Sure he'll even it out and stay so consistent throughout the remainder of the season..

Wotherspoon with 3 late one's inside 10 minute's alone. Paton with a dirty one early door's (that's 4 straight away) but was only booked with about 20 to go on the two footer on Sinclair if I remember right. So many Dev, it was farcical ..

Apart from being an obvious hun * which we all know, plus a cheat. He's one of these wee *'s who argue and shout back when they've gave a decision..

He's been fast-tracked through every league the huns have been in I'm sure..

You only really complain about refs when you lose. Were not doing a whole lot of that at the moment

I honestly believe Brendan is here because of his love for Celtic , of course he is well paid but he could easily have been earning a lot more elsewhere.

I think most of us don't give Dermot Desmond credit in his powers of persuasion , he seems like a hard guy to say no to ,short of throwing a horse's head on Brendan's bed ,he made him an offer he couldn't refuse .

His Liverpool record compared to Klopp's is very, very close. If I recall, I think Brendan edges it in terms of points per game.

We've bagged ourselves a top class manager.
