I've always admired his humility, even as someone who originally came from an Everton background. He's just quite likeable as a person and respectable.

Has he been jet setting around Europe btw for young talent for our academy? Couldn't figure that out in the Liverpool fans post.

BR: “We needed to find multiple scorers because you are never going to succeed if you only have one player who is going to score the goals.“

BR: “If you are going to be a dangerous team, it has to come from different areas of the field or the opposition can just close players.“

BR: “It’s defining jobs and, as an attacking player, your job is simple. When you have the ball, it’s to create goals and score goals

BR: “If you play in the team as a winger and you are scoring two goals, you are no good to me.”

Rodgers: “Don’t just look a good player, be a good player and that means being effective. It’s defining roles and being clear.“

Rodgers: “We’re an attacking team, but we defend well and pressure the ball. It’s good, they are getting there. Slowly.”

BRENDAN Rodgers has hailed the Celtic support for their brilliant backing of the team in last weekend's Glasgow derby success at Ibrox.

Even when the champions were losing early in the match, the Hoops faithful roared on the players and they were able to celebrate a thoroughly-deserved victory together once the final whistle sounded thanks to goals from Moussa Dembele and Scott Sinclair.

When asked about the fans' contribution in this week's Celtic View, the manager said: “It was brilliant. They didn’t panic either. When we went 1-0 down they stayed with the team which is very important and hopefully they are seeing there is a real trust building between the supporters and the players.

“Sometimes you will have adverse times in games but if you have the spirit, the fight and the will, along with the quality, then you come through it, and the supporters are identifying that with this Celtic team. Like Celtic teams of the past, you find a way, and it was important for them to celebrate together afterwards."

And the manager would have walked over to salute the fans as well at full time had he not suffered an untimely injury when celebrating Sinclair’s winning strike.

“That was my only disappointment of the day as I was unable to go over there and be with them as I stupidly pulled my calf," he added.

Deffo a close rapport with the side and everyone pulling in same direction..

Singing Armstrong's name (for the first time)when he's about to take a corner summed that up for me....and he deserves it..

He is our saviour. I'm not sure if anyone else could've turned us around after the * Ronny put us through.

I know it doesn't seem on the surface that much of an achievement after inheriting a team of champions. However, he has moved us forward after years of going backwards.

    I love you, Brendan.

Biggest thing Brendan has done this season is bring the atmosphere back! Everyone is buzzing with that Celtic Pride! Also a side note... I notice some rebel songs emerging more and more! Love It! Up the Rebels!

I'll wait a little longer before finally deciding about my true feelings for BR; it's unfair to judge anyone after half a season.
However, I will admit that things are looking good so far. As someone who grew up in a family of Evertonians, I was not impressed when BR got the job, but so far he appears to have done a great job.
