Was it not obvious enough without the black tape? Thought the big screen might have acted as a subtle hint.

BR on last match v @FCBarcelona: "We showed them too much respect and the scoreline was bitterly disappointing at the time.

BR: "There were many aspects we learnt from, like being brave, and the players have shown they have learned from that.

BR: "It was a tough game against a top-class, world-class team but I'd hope it will be a different performance from ourselves.

BR: "You go into the game having to think about defensive organisation.

BR: "You also need a little bit of luck as well and when the opportunities come, you can take them.

BR: "We have to fight and ensure we do everything we can to try to stop them, but it's not easy.

BR: "We showed too much respect. You can't take that into the game and try to impose your style. That's the message.

BR: "This is the next opportunity to show against them and we have the incredible support behind us.

BR: "We have to look to impose our style and make it as difficult as we possibly can.

BR on Messi: "If he plays then he's arguably the world's best player. He's shown when he does play they are a different team.

BR: "No matter who plays, we know @FCBarcelona are a very good side

BR asked about Ballon d'Or: "It's down to who you prefer, Messi or Ronaldo but I think Suarez comes into that bracket as well now.

BR: "Everyone who knows football recognises what a brilliant player Messi is. Arguably best of all time but number of players up there.

BR on possibility of Celtic winning European Cup again: "I don't think so. 1967 was a special year.

BR: "It was a really unique season. They won everything that year. Local boys.

BR: "Modern football and its money makes players much more available. They were all local boys

BR: "For us it's about the team. It's an opportunity for us all to play here. We want to get a victory and know it will be difficult.

BR: "We have no fear for the result. If we play our style we have an opportunity to get the result

BR on bravery from players: "It's the courage to love the football and ability to want the ball.

BR: "These players have shown that

BR: "Lot's of learning and development came from our game against @FCBarcelona but it hasn't harmed us

BR: "You know there's going to be waves of pressure but you have to be able to play through it.

BR: "You'll have moments where you'll have chances and you have to be able to take them

BR on where he was when Celtic beat @FCBarcelona 2-1 in 2012: "I don't remember where I was but I did see the game.

BR: "I was very happy for Neil and it shows it can be done. Players can take inspiration from that game and our game v @ManCity

BR: "There are many variables. Need luck, need to be at the top of your game and need goalie to make saves

BR on team news: "@Leighgriff09 making progress. Will assess again. Apart from that, most other players back in.

What a transformation since he's been here. With another couple of players we can most definitely compete at this level.

We got shafted by getting the hardest possible group, but with an "easier" draw I think we'd be in Europe after Christmas.

He's done very well. Flung into the Group of Death at first point of asking, only has one transfer window, Cup Final coming up and well ahead in the league. Maybe another spare centre back too.

Wish list for January please. Two top dollar midfielders and another left back.

I don't think many of us expected to even get to the group stages this season due to how little time Brendan had to implement his style etc.

We have shown we are just a few quality players away from being able to compete at this level consistently so imo we are well ahead of schedule at this point in Rodgers reign, the board will back him big time from here on in. Exciting times ahead :50:

Brendan the hero. I'm sitting here thinking "can't wait for the group stages next year" not even thinking about the qualifiers. We'll breeze past them next season.

BR: "As a coach you are looking for improvement and I felt we made significant improvement

BR: "How we pressed the game tactically was very good. Won the ball back in high areas & when we couldn't we were defensively solid.

BR: "I was very pleased with the performance.

BR: "Disappointed with the first goal, just switched off at the edge of the box but the quality and speed of the pass caught us out.

BR: "But we were always in the game, pushing, and we had a big chance with the header. And then we get punished for the penalty.

BR: "At 2-0 against Barcelona, we keep fighting & working, but of course it becomes more difficult as they keep the ball so well.

BR on Scott Brown's display: "He was outstanding - aggressive & strong - and across the team we had good performers.

BR: "Young Callum McGregor played left-back against Kilmarnock & tonight he played on right side against Barcelona. Did very well.

BR: "We wanted to go with an extra midfield to allow us to keep the ball & be compact centrally. In main, idea worked for us."

BR: "First and foremost for us it was getting into #UCL The club had a period of time not qualifying, a huge effort in the summer.

BR: "This experience, though still 1 game to go, was always going to be invaluable for us, lots of young players who will improve."

BR: "We have played three of best teams in Europe and we have gradually got better in each game.

BR on Barcelona penalty: "Didn't think it was a penalty

BR: "Luis is brilliant at provoking the defenders. He was leaning into Emilio who was trying to fight for his space.

BR: "A key moment in the game as we were pressing and getting into good areas. At 1-0 we were always in the game

BR: "The referee didn't give us so much during the night. But that's the way it goes sometimes

BR on @Scotty_Sinclair “We will see how he is. Very robust, so for him to come off, he was hurting. Didn't want to take a risk"

About 3 players off being a quality side.

    He's transformed us massively.

Without a doubt, very impressive when you consider the length of time he's been here, he has given us CL football again and our domestic form has been excellent.

Hopefully Brendan will bag his first trophy as Celtic manager this weekend.

Needs to work on making us more solid at back in europe. We always look very easy to cut open at back.

All in all but am delighted way the progress under him

When you think back to what we were served up last year in Europa League. What a transformation!
