Lennon used to throw his ginger sausage aboot a fair bit during his time in Glesga.

Wee Brendan is jumping about with a new bita young stuff after leaving his wife not so long ago, he's lost weight and had his teeth done.

The ugly ducklings have well and truly turned into ugly fucklings :56:

He's carried a bit of luck that other managers haven't.

Whilst I was no fan of Ronny and Lenny, you look at some of the European games were we didn't carry much luck, whilst we got lucky in the end.

Even cup ties, tonight no doubt Gordon shoulda walked tonight and if you think about Gordon and Efe being sent off in games previously, we certainly have had a bit of the rub of the green of late under BR.

He's incredibly successful, looks after himself physically and is a really smart, well-spoken guy who is probably also a really lovely person.

But, no. He's not tall and he doesn't fit the current fashion for male looks, so you can't see why women would be interested.

We're all just pieces of meat to you, aren't we? I for one feel personally insulted by your objectification of men. :47:

CELTIC completed their primary objective tonight in getting past Alloa into the semi-final of the Scottish League Cup but Hoops manager Brendan Rodgers admitted that he wants a more clinical edge from his team.
The Celts pinned the visitors back for most of the game and rained down shot after shot on goal but Alloa’s keeper Neil Parry pulled off a string of saves to keep his team’s hopes alive until the closing stages of the match.
An excellent first-time pass from second-half substitute Ryan Christie to James Forrest with 83 minutes on the clock finally opened up the space for Celtic to take the lead, and the Hoops winger obliged by placing a left-footed shot beyond Parry to break the deadlock.
Moussa Dembele’s clever turn and powerful effort from inside the box soon made it 2-0 and safely booked the Celts’ place in the final four of the competition but the boss of the Bhoys said he will be looking for an improved performance in front of goal at the weekend against Kilmarnock.
“The main objective tonight was to qualify,” he said. “We always knew it would be a really tough game for us.
"If you look at Alloa in the group stages they beat Inverness and Ross County so we knew they had great resilience in the team. We knew they had great mentality and character to defend and they proved that.
“We had a lot of chances in the first-half and didn’t take them and, of course, when you don’t take them, you can become a little bit edgy but we showed great patience and scored two great goals and got there in the end with a clean sheet at the end to go with it.
“We’re through and that was the main objective of tonight.”
When Celtic’s goals did come, they were worth waiting for.
Both Forrest and Dembele showed the right mix of patience and accuracy in front of goal when their chances came their way after a frustrating night and the manager praised them for their clinical finishes.
“They were good finishes,” he added. “James worked very hard all evening, he cut inside and had a real good finish. Moussa, got his goal again with a good bit of skill, cuts inside and had a wonderful finish but give credit to Alloa as well.
“This is a team that we watched and did all the work on. I know how resilient and how tough it was going to be for them but to come here and play and defend like they did was fantastic so they deserve a huge amount of credit for coming and playing like they did.
“We deserve the credit for the patience to keep going and get the result but performance wise we’ll obviously play much better.”
The manager added that there was good news on Leigh Griffiths’ fitness and said he expected the striker to be in the squad for the weekend as he continues his recovery from a calf injury.
The Celtic boss also highlighted the return of Jozo Simunovic, who started his first match for the club since January this year after making his comeback against Inverness Caley Thistle at the weekend.
“He looks a top player,” he said. “I’m talking more in training than games because he only came into the game in Inverness and obviously we planned to try to get him game time tonight.
“If you look at his profile, he’s 6' 3'', very dominant, strong, quick, can serve the ball and for a young player he shows wonderful mentality. He’s really aggressive and defends forward so he’s a player I really like and if you see him in training he’s very impressive.

“Hopefully he can stay fit and keep looking to make his way into the team."

Get a grip you're making the assumption that I'm stereotyping here :smiley-laughing002: I think he's a lovely, soft spoken and kindly man. I also see that he takes care of himself as a lot of us try to do. I didn't say he was ugly I was just commenting on the fact that guys on here seemed to suggest that he was a babe magnet. Hey the forum is about opinions and I'm just saying that personally for me he isn't all that charasmatic. I'm not speaking for all women. He has a certain something about him but I wouldn't be bowled over. Obviously some women are but I can see what our BR is saying in that a man in power with plenty of money needs none of these things to attract a certain type. I don't have a particular type in looks, shape or whatever....I would have to be drawn to the person by personality and other things that aren't quite so tangible. Looks are only skin deep.

Why is it people can make loads of sexist over the top comments about women on here yet I make a relatively tame observation and you jump all over it? You only need to look at this thread to get examples of objectifying woman and even BR himself!:smiley-laughing002:

That's the problem with this site: no matter how ridiculous you make your post, to try to make it clear you are joking, someone somewhere on here posts something equally ridiculous in all earnestness most days.
