What a wake up call. Was worried the other day when he was talking about all the talent there was in the squad. Attacking wise it's pish.

 

Exactly. I doubt if he's even looked at our worst performances over the last 2 seasons. ANY manager or coach down the parks at Glasgow Green would NEVER HAVE played those 3 players I mentioned above. If your on the money were believed to have heard Rodgers is on,then he should be bleary eyed watching our performances. * our 1st game and we're all * Miserable. * spoiled my Holiday.

Really fked up tonight with especially picking ambrose and Christie. A front 3 of dembelle, Griffins, Roberts is far better and the other one I'd had anyone or their granny over ambrose. We need a good CM also by the looks of it.

 

Blaming him due to signing a lot of * players who the new management has to offload.

 

This, he really needs to have a look at what we are seeing and get half that squad tae * out the door

The players we had on the pitch tonight were more than good enough to beat a team of part timers. Our development side would be good enough to beat them.

 

Probably been said but does anyone think he has wholly underestimated the challenges at Celtic.

When he talks it sounds like he doesn't understand Scottish football, nor does he understand these wee teams and the early friendlies.

I don't think he realises how bad the squad is so he's underestimating the challenge to an extent.

 

I'm still * off at the lack of signings we've made. It's inexcusable really.

We already have enough, easily, to navigate this round. But we should be getting players in early in order for them to get to know the team and get into a rhythm before the next round.

The only player we've signed who is going straight into the team is a fairly inexperienced striker who's just turned 20.

Aye. Maybe he thinks us winning the league at a canter is indicative of potential and maybe it was just Ronny causing the problems - like we all thought in the end.

He, like us, might have thought he could bring a bit of energy to a lethargic side an give them that wee boost.

Clearly naw. Team needs an overhaul which doesn't bode well for actual champions league qualification.

 

Still have absolute faith in him that he can turn this around, board needs to chip in with investment though

 

Worry's me a bit that after Rodgers saying he wants to get most of his business done before the first qualifier, we have one in. Even last week, he openly said he expected signings before the deadline. Still confident that quality will be brought in though

 

That's what get's me the most, that squad needs an overhaul, not tinkered with, an overhaul.

This squad will let him down as it is the now.
