Certainly happy with the ones that have gone and appear to be on the verge of going.

He dropped Gerrard at Liverpool did he not? He's not afraid to make big decisions. Broony will still be first eleven, just more rotation this season I'd imagine.

Brendans comments on Garry Monk were a very big hint about what he's about to do with Brown imo, see no reason why he would have mentioned it otherwise.

Pretty sure with your last name on here you were convinced of the same thing.

It won't happen. Broony will be captain next season and will play a key role.

He will be captain and he will play a key role, that's without question.

However it won't be on the park for the majority, it will be off it. The consequences of persisting with Brown in midfield were a massive part of Deila's downfall(And I'm not just talking about Ronny playing him when he was injured).

He definitely will play a massive part on it. Just as he has for the last 8 years.

    And no, it wasn't.

Time will tell but if anything then those comments from Brendan regarding Garry Monk were at the least a big warning to Brown.

Let me ask you this though, Brendan has said he feels Brown won't make the first qualifier as it's touch and go with his fitness. So whoever comes in to replace Brown in those ties, if they excel and perform extremely well in his position how does Brown get back in again? I don't see Brendan doing a Deila and just dropping a good performer for Brown just because he's captain.

Brown gets back in because Rodgers is more a rotational manager and the squad will be smaller.

BRENDAN Rodgers heaped praise on his players after they dispatched Slovenian champions Olimpija Ljubljana 2-1 tonight to maintain their unbeaten pre-season record.
A brilliant brace from Leigh Griffiths was enough to see off the home side in Stadion Stozice, with Miha Zajc scoring their reply.
Prior to facing Olimpija, Celtic had drawn with NK Celje in their opening match of the trip, before putting Austrian side Sturm Graz to the sword.
And the manager told Celtic TV that he was pleased at the way his charges coped with the challenge of facing a team who are also participating in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers.
He said: “It was another excellent workout for us. The beauty of tonight was were playing a team who will be in the qualifying round of the Champions League as well so it was a good test for us and that was the message to players.
“It’s really unfair for the players because they are only two weeks in and they are having to come into a really competitive game next week, but it’s something we have to accept and I felt the players accepted that challenge tonight, playing against a team that is a good side, and I thought they did very well.
“Yet again, everything I asked of the players in this game, the targets we had, were all there to be seen and as the season goes on the fluency will become better and the possession to penetrate will become better.
"What I’m looking at this moment time is that mentality and that defensive organisation and I’m seeing that very clearly.”
Once again, the Hoops boss made 11 changes during the match to give as many players game-time as possible, particularly with the Champions League second round qualifier against Gibraltar side Lincoln Red Imps looming on the immediate horizon.
He said: “We are just trying to get players up the 90-minute mark as it’s very difficult to come in the first couple of weeks and go straight into 90 minutes. You saw in our last game a lot of the players got 45 minutes and we were arranging players up towards 60 and 70 minutes tonight.
“Come the weekend, we will have to manage it again now as we now have the game coming up against the team from Gibraltar. It was a great workout for us and the two goals from Leigh Griffiths were outstanding and he also worked very hard. We created other chances so it was a nice exercise.”
New signing Moussa Dembele made his Celtic bow in Ljubljana and impressed during his time on the pitch, showing plenty or power and pace and coming close to scoring on several occasion. He also linked up effectively with fellow forward Griffiths.
The manager added: “This is only his first week training but since coming he has looked very strong, fast and mobile and you could see that combination up front with him and Leigh Griffiths, and other teams will have someone else to focus on. He obviously tired a little bit but I felt he did very well.”

I'm wondering were the new signings are, is Rogers going to be backed, call me cynical but i'm waiting for the usual the summer transfer window is not the best market to be buying in patter coming any day now, or is it the wait and see if we qualify for the CL gamble again

Even Rodgers mentioned himself about "things happening before Wednesday" last weekend.

    Unsure what's going on now.

Pant wetting in full swing on TC and we haven't even played a competitive game yet.
