    Sorry to take the thread back on topic, but I'm happy with what Brendan was saying there. It does make sense.

    We need a quality centre-back, and we need to add pace and goal threat at the top end of the pitch. I was saying that in one of the threads last night.

    Also good to see him take time to assess players. I assume he's talking about the centre of midfield, where we're pretty well stocked. We could afford to get rid of 2 or 3 and bring in one of real quality.

    It sounds like there is plenty of business to be done yet, maybe 5 or 6 out and 3 or 4 in.
