With City winning their appeal I think man united will take Leicester's CL spot

Yes... not often I want Man U to achieve but this is one time...

The LUfc fans (and club) have had an inflated opinion of their position, power and importance since their title win...

It was fantastic ... but it was a ‘one-off’ and nothing more. It gave them CL football (fail) and some pull for players as well as adding value to a few of theirs... but they won’t come close again.

The way they treated Ranieri after that showed what their ethos and ethics are really about.

Seeing them and their manager in mental turmoil is magic! Pity they won’t drop right out of position for any european football altogether.

No sure I agree with you on the Ranieri point mate. The way they were going that season, there was a real possibility of them going down. You only have to look at Leeds to see how damaging that can be. So in the end, I think they were justified sacking him. What he achieved was unbelievable and will probably never be seen again in the Premier League, but if they go down the following year, the financial implications could end up catastrophic. That's the nature of the beast when it comes to football management.

I want to hear the fella take some ownership and go 'fair cop I and the team got it wrong'. He's increasingly reminding me of a PR machine. Managing his own image/stock. Cúrrently he is failing in his job. But not according to brand 'Rogers'.

Where do Leicester fans think they should be, lol?

If he gets them in CL that's mightily impressive. Aye it sticks in the throat but would be some achievement.

Hopefully they blow it right enough, just for a laugh.

Heard him spouting off about it being some achievement that they were now guaranteed Europe and had broken the top 6. They were miles ahead of Man Utd and are close to losing that top 4. To drop out given the position they were in is a shocker, but nah some achievement says the sweaty faced snake.

This is quite an incredible plummet from Leicester. In the top 4 all season then pumped out in the final two games. Agree that breaking the top 6 will still be a real positive achievement, but you can't ignore the steep decline and cover the seriousness of it with how the table looks overall.

Thing is (certainly over his last few appointments) he seems to be able to come in and invigorate the place in a "David Brentesque" style. When things are going for him he certainly seems able to capitalise on the feelgood factor and push teams on. Once things start to get difficult though there is zero evidence of him being able to turn things round. If he can do that at Leciester under pressure this will be a first for him. Let's see how they do next season.
