I’m sure he did work as hard as he says but he’s not, and never was, one of us.
And yes, leaving us the way he did does make him less of a Celt.

I've tried not to be overly harsh on the guy, angry and gutted yes but end of the day he's made his bed and will have to deal with the backlash. Own fault pal (aside from the usual over the top, stupit wee neds that like the attention of shock value).

Also feel sorry for his family having to read about him being now referred to as the snake. But, you don't get to * off at this stage with what's at stake and get a smooth ride. Suck it up Brendan, no one's fault but your own.

The guy made the team cut out a energy source from their diet whilst all the other teams around us didn't effectively making the team tired late on was the most stupid thing to do.... That said he was good at coaching young players

The guy has won us 2 trebles , weve only won 5 in our history , so there's no doubting he's a good coach.
My criticism would be the football was too slow and deliberate a lot of the times, too easy to read apart from season 1.

 

Ultimately the job proved too much but he won 2 titles and was the mother of all honest mistakes away from a very probable treble himself though!!

 

We don't score many goals from set pieces.
We are vulnerable when pressed.

Been thinking about this situation for a while now and im wondering if we are getting the full story here?

I just cant see why Rodgers would leave in the manner he has,it just does,nt make sense.Not that it makes any difference(i never was a fan of his)but id like to hear his honest account of how all this came about.

 

A manager can't get it right all the time , but for the most part he did. Weve regressed this season though and losing moussa was a killer blow., Interesting to see how we do going forward.

I never want to see them relegated just one place away from relegation every season also to be knocked out of the cup competitions at home all the time by a team in a lower league

 

He'll make the likes of Gray , Chilwell and Maddison into better players ,He'll also have Benkovic and Barnes returning but they're not any better than what he was working with here.

 

There’s absolutely no way Leicester told him it’s now or never. He’s clearly the guy they were desperate for.

 

He'll chance his arm in the summer , Managers always go back to their clubs for at least a couple of players.
