    That's the one, thought that was a cracking top. Technically it did break the hoops but you still get the same effect as hoops, that's what i meant by i wouldn't be bothered much by it unless the design was drastically changed.

    That's pretty much what I'm asking.
    Would you be annoyed if the top was changed dramatically?
    For example, if Celtic had a plain white with one green vertical stripe down the middle.

    TJ. . .You'll find that that was not the first Celtic shirt. . . It was a change shirt from th 1950's.

    The first Celtic Shirt was plain white with a green collar and a celtic cross emblem.

    the hoops are part of the club since 1903. . . It will not be changed.

    We all buy t-shirts just because they resemble Celtic's hoops. . . It is something that we have that a lot of clubs dont. . . If You see someone wearin a green and white hooped shirt, even if its from asda. . . You know he's a tim !!

    Blue football tops are ten a penny.

    I know the first top wasn't hoops but there's soemthing unique and special about it really. I see Real Betis and think - pish top. Racing Santander changed to hoops last season for their 2nd strip and met with some acclaim here.

    Anyway - I've always thought that the away strip should be hoops too - black/green or yellow/green or something along those lines. Not the same with the yellow top.

    Call me Hoola if you want but it's the Hoops for me. Always.

    Regardless of the year or the manufacturer, these tops are unmistakable. Barca * around between stripes and half-n-half, but I'd probably included them in the list too.

    It would never change in a major way, the umbro one is one of my favourite strips although it doesnt fit me anymore, the strips posted still bear the hoops, its only broken slightly, if they abandoned the hoops altogether i would be fuming.

    Losing the hoops would lose a part of the history to Celtic even if I'm watching Sporting play I always smile at first thinking its Celtic becuase of the green & White hoops!

    Same don't change the badge!

    Keep the Experimenting to the away top!

    Bring back the bumblebee top too!

    They would never do it but if they did i wouldn't be happy.We are the Hoops..we're famous for it and people around the world can identify with the Green and White hoops so i wouldnt like it changed.And Mon Eh Green and Whites dosent have the same ring to it.
