Aye pretty much, defender laid it back towards the goals but the goalie was out at edge of the box.Taz likes this.

There’s a story from years ago that Newcastle used to do shadow play under Ossie Ardiles where the starting 11 would play against nobody and score a few goals etc.
They kicked off and passed the ball back, then back again and then back to Tommy Wright the goalkeeper who was putting his gloves on and didn’t see the ball and it went in the net. So they were losing 0-1 to nobody. -
