I thought the Ref was *....maybe i'm just taking my disapointment out out on him.

Our performance was the same old fayre...why am i not surprised...i really believed we would put on a show and come away with a positive result!

I have to agree with some of the comments about Samaras,Broon & Loovens among others...just not good enough....Man i'm spitting mad

Maybe part of the problem is too many players been given too many roles.. Ki spent far too much time in and around our box for my liking and it wasn't like Ledley or Brown somehow controlled our play so Im of the thinking Ki was asked to run the show.. The penalty was one I won't argue with because Ki is under no pressure with only a Celtic player around him and it wasn't even fizzed at him.. If anything he smothers the ball with his arm which if seen as intentional to control the ball = the yellow card which he got , but he does look like a lost boy at times but you can see he's desperate to make an impression.. Maloney will need to stand up and be counted this year.. Him and Brown had a decent break in the 2nd half which might have been 2 on 2 and the pass ahead of Brown from Maloney was shocking and made Brown look the guilty party which he was on many other occasions.. Samaras was clearing headers from set pieces played into our box in the 70th minute and when your playing one up front it's a bit draining on the guy making him come all the way back to defend and expecting him to also play on the counter attack.. I think with Lenny he simply has to find a starting 11 that he trusts and stick with it and then see what he can get from subs because it's the only way players will develop partnerships and he needs to gain support and momentum going into the SPL season.. Chopping players from one week to the next based on who underforms is going to make things more difficult..
Two more friendlies against Lyon and Arsenal and maybe a third over the weekend before we play the 2nd leg agaisnt Braga..

GK - Boruc had lost his way, forma nd fitness, Zaluska leaked goals!!!!!!! Sort it out?

LB - Fox, Naylor and Braafheid not good enough, why bring back a player who has already failed??????

CB - Loovens is too soft, O'Dea isn't good enough, Rogne hasn't played much and neither has Hooiveld. Pre season is the time to build, have Hooiveld and Loovens even played together? Old issues still not addressed.

RB - Sorry Cha but Hinkel has been our most consistant player the last 2 years, shoud have played and should be staying.

LM and RM - Most creative player went to Portugal and didn't kick a ball. McCourt has been the best player pre season and is nowhere to be seen??????

CM - Changed more times in the last year than most people change their trunks. Still doesn't account for poor passing and the existence of the HUN Scott Brown.

SAMMY - You do try but you are *, GTF.

SUBS - Forrest and Murphy are the future, * help us all.

LENNON - Decision making was poor and let the game get away from us (sounds familiar to Mowbray's last game).

Played exactly like they were ...... a team who hasn't played together before ! Mulgrew's distribution was *, our CB's bring the ball forward then play it to our CM's who have dropped so deep its shocking ! Can't remember one of our players taking on an opponent. Every time we got into their half we turned and played the ball back.... * ? Sammy can't play up on his own and I'm sorry but the guy has no anticipation or drive whatsoever ! Lenny needs to sort out midfield, no way Ki is a DM and no way Broony is a winger ! We need better attacking options Lenny !
