Exactly what i was thinking we must have spent 10x more time on planes flying across america then onto canada and back than we did on the pitch then we flew home for a couple of day's before being back on the plane again to portugal absolutely crazy preperation for such an important game last night imo. :38:

Pretty much agree with everything said here apart from the McCourt thing. I reckon we were right to go conservative without McCourt - he'll be much more suited to next week.

Football is that. How many times you played * and you won the matchs? Or you had a brilliant match and you didnt score? It was a crap match and I truly think we are not 3 goals better than you. But we respected you and we did what we had to do. We did our homework. Sometimes we were defending in your side of the ground! But it seems as i read most of the posts in the other topic that many of you understimated us. Maybe Lennon didnt do his homework properly. And to be honest playing on the weekend the Arsenal tournement...:87:
Now after watching the video of the penalty given to us I am a bit more convinced that it was handball. In the stadium I thought it was handball.

He had his arm at his side, it was ball to hand, thats not a penalty

Its a shambles that he managed to get through Loovens and Hooiveld there tbh

Well, too much confidence, and really disappointing. Anyway, I said earlier that Braga did not feared Celtic, and that was proven last night.

A very bad gesture at the end of the game, very bad indeed. I would expect to English's, Italian`s or even German`s to do so, not ever the Scots. As we say around here "Acts do belong/stay with those o make them".

Not so much Hooiveld.. He had the white boots on.. Loovens and Du Ri...

A bit of a grey area I reckon.. ball to hand suggests that the player knew nothing about it and couldn't have avoided it - unintentional hand ball (my thinking about the rule anyway) and I think Ki could have avoided it , but it still doesn't mean it was a deliberate handball which the linesman must have decided it was , for the ref to give the penalty and yellow card..

some you win some you lose.. We've been on the wrong end too often though..

you will find that there was a big reason for this ----- mulgrew can not defend.

Braga will do exactly the same next week and so will every team that we play after tht if we continue to play him at lb

Apart from the handball, did anyone else not think that Ki was shocking? I mean no one deserved a gold star but I think that he was just as bad as Mulgrew and Brown

after we lost 5-0 to artmedia, we won 4-0 at home.

so if it was omly 3-0 away (as the braga game was) then we would of won 4-3 on aggregate. that will happen next week

Mulgrew was bad but his team-mates didn't help.

Juarez was a bit like a good version of Scott Brown - got himself about but didn't do enough on the ball for my liking so a 5/10 from me.

Ledley played left wing and was anonymous. Spent all game tracking back and defending, and when he did get the ball, couldn't do a thing with it. Didn't beat his man to the byline and get a cross in ONCE. 4/10

Cha looked like a pacier Hinkel but arguably not as good a crosser. Not particularly strong in defence but alright going forward. 5/10

When Murphy came on I hate to say it (as I haven't expected much) but he looked to be well up for it with good close control. More of him please.

Mulgrew and Cha, in fairness to them, got zero back-up from anyone in the middle and had to face both their wingers and the free runner who came over. They didn't know who to mark. Though, it was clear they weren't ready for the game and weren't confident but it is important people realise it was hard for them.

Juarez, Cha, Murphy. These men are the only one who should be relatively safe as participants in the Parkhead game.
