we need to get 1 early next week. must not let them score either, 3 is hard enough but needing to score 5 is impossible.

 

It's all just one big horrible mess at the moment but surely there will be light at the end of the tunnel at some point.

 

The BOARD??? This has NOTHING to do with the board - they are backing the team all the way, McGeady was injured and lennon says he will play him in the 2nd leg.

What a joke to blame the board - the team did not pass well enough, seemed very nervous and didnt play like a team.

Considering half of them havent played together in a team what are we to expect. The Braga team were not anything special and they scored goals that could have been avoided i.e Zonal Marking and Zaluska losing the plot but for * sake get behind the team and maybe we might pull off an amazing turnaround.

We all had this last year when we played awful last year against Moscow at home and fans gave out the abuse expecting us to go out with a whimper and before we knew it we had turned the game around. Our bhoys need confidence and they need our backing so get to parkhead and roar them on!!!

Anything is possible and at parkhead there is no reason why we cant go out and hammers these F*****S

Question for Lenny, why, why did he allow Maloney to stay on the park for some 70mins, the very worse performance I have seen from him, likewise why did he persevere with Samaras ?
OK this game came too soon for us and I suppose we were always candidates for some sort of drubbing, but they were no great shakes either and it was never a 3-0 game.
Lenny has his work cut out for him in order to have a team that will function as a team. Loovens, Samaras, have to be off loaded asap, Maloney, I don't know what to say.
Mulgrew what the * is going on with this guy, he could'nt make a 10 yard pass down the line, in fact no one stood out in this match. We had almost 50% possession but did sweet F-All with it, I expected it to be tough but I never thought for a moment we would be so clueless all over the park.
Worrying times indeed in many senses including that of Lenny's ability to actually build a team that can function.

Tonight was utter pish, but if we want to even think about beating this team next week we must have parkhead rockin bigtime so they are so uneasy they cant even think about the ball coz lets face it they were pish aswell, lets jst hope the team now see why the fans get * off im still for lennon tho not gonna judge a guy after 1 game after he won 7 in a row at the end of the season but hey we will see...

 

Yep, but of a * mystery one at that as Lennon as good as said he will play. To be fair though I can see the reason behind it as it would knock a couple of million off his transfer fee as its likely he will go to a club who play in Europe. My big worry is will they give Lennon the money to reinvest. Think most of us know the answer to that. It starts with "we tried to sign (choose your own names here) but they were not available even though we offered them £50m and £550k per week

I'm really surprised that we had so much posession. I guess this probably came from the little spells of passy across the back line. After their little game of passy it was either humped up and lost or passed to the midfield and two passes later lost. I really didn't like the look of that ball either. Looked like a jabulani to me.

Because they have resale value. If they played tonight it would rule them out of Europe for any other team for the whole season.

 

We would have been better off with lennon, thompson and mjallby on the pitch tonight rather than on the sidelines doing nothing.
