Well why dont our like minded fans join and have them collect as many GB as they can in one section and start a new one or two or ten singing sections

I don't know why people can't see this.

I don't know any other fans that would put up with this * and try to justify it.

I think I'm coming across wrong, the GB are not more important than any other set of supporters, but they are the club as is the droopy eyed boring prawn sandwich eating * who tells you to sit down.
The main difference is they contribute more to the atmosphere, something which players want to come to witness and play for.
The atmosphere will be drained, as will our club's image in regards to the atmosphere they add to, so don't tell me they aren't the club.

I'd rather we liquidate like R*ngers than lose our atmosphere.

I never renewed this season was gutted not to but could not afford it this year. I support the green brigade but i support the team the players would suffer from a boycott as well

The difference is 100 years ago you didnt get "fans" who go to the game to get a burger and sit on facebook on the wi-fi, the atmosphere will only get worse, as it gets more diluted with boring * who sit on their hands the full game.

Absolute laughable statement. Who the * are you to tell folk how they should support their team, or how they feel about their club. The fans are the most important thing to Celtic, every single one of them that is. So that also includes the GB.

I think you're being quite naive if you think this will solely effect the Green Brigade. If every like minded fan was to chuck it in solidarity with them Celtic would take a hit.

The board maybe thought....ok we have asked and asked again but they don't listen its time to put out a message.
It does not matter why its been closed, what matters is we as a club got to this point.
A group of fans acting above the rules knew something could happen but they kept going.
Like i said we all love the banner and the noise they bring but no one is above the law...not even the GB.

you act like they have barred the GB from the stadium. All they have done is make a decision to segregate the fans they put together for atmosphere purposes which ended up being more trouble than it was actually worth due to the bad behavior and the lack of responsibility they took when confronted by the board. Their statements have been cringe worthy. They said last week that after a meeting with the board, they went n checked out the damage of the seats n they added a comment saying that the board were lying about the seats that have been damaged and that the tally wasn't in the hundereds like the club said, therefore claiming that the club were lying about the damage that was caused. I think I'm gonna trust the board over a bunch of fans on a power trip because they have their own section ... Sorry, HAD their own section lol

Thought in the age of "look how bad our fans are for not sticking up for the green brigade" this was quite appropriate. Fireworks? Check. Ultras thinking they have more power than they do? Check. Defending their actions by saying the atmosphere will die? Check. But no it's all Peter Lawwell and his vicious vendetta to rid the club of people singing the Celtic Symphony.

Can you imagine if Sandro Rosell tried to get Barcelona to stop singing Catalan song and bringing Catalan independence flags to the games? He'd be chased out of Barcelona.

But we'll just tolerate it because uncle Pete knows best.

Far better than a boycott would be for the whole stadium to have a leteral movement protest for 1 minute.......

support the team , leave boycotts to the Sevconians
