    Sorry, haven't been very active in promoting this, this past week. Just been bit hectic.

    We are currently sitting at 18 confirmed with selected artists, with 1 'pencilled in' with their choice of artist. Which makes 19.

    Still room for more & would really appreciate at least 1, so if anyone wants to try their luck, hit me up. :50:

    How This Season's Twist Works


    So, unlike previous seasons, this time you've been challenged with the management of 2 linked artists.

    There is no Play Off rounds this time (unless there is a tie), so if your artist finishes bottom of the group they are immediately knocked out. [​IMG]

    However that does not mean you are eliminated from the competition, so long as you have one of your choices still in the running you are alive. :50:

    To Clear Something Up...

    To clarify, if the linked member joins a previously formed band, then they can only submit studio recordings of songs done with that person featured in the band. However, they are eligible to use LIVE recordings of previous songs so long as that person is part of the band doing that performance.

    For example (and using this as noone has claimed the Rolling Stones), Ronnie Wood joined them in the mid-70's. So for the purposes of this comp, if someone were using the Stones, they can not use studio version of Jumpin' Jack Flash, however a live version of it, with Wood as part of the band, would be eligible.

    This is also the case if someone leaves a band, and rejoins for a reunion etc - they can include studio recordings of songs they were part of the official line up for, in addition to live versions only of songs that they were not part of the studio recording of.

    Have had 1 withdrawal, so looks like we are set to go at 18 at this stage. :50:

    13 of which have submitted songs, so there are a few am still waiting on ahead of the scheduled start of tomorrow.

    Of course, being the time of year and Xmas approaching, things get hectic, so will be trying to be as understanding as possible, and if anyone is having any issues, just let me know and will do whatever I/we can to accommodate everyone. :50:

    Probably should have waited until after the turn of the year to run this, fingers crossed it runs smoothly enough, with a little patience and given the time of year etc, but hopefully we will get through this all good.
