Taz, sorry if this has been covered before. But is the primary act the one that is going to have the most songs submitted? Some acts have a better secondary career (perhaps Justin Timberlake is an example of this), so can you use his solo stuff as the primary act and then the Backstreet Boys as the secondary (if primary and secondary makes a difference to how many songs you submit)?

Sorry, have been asleep most of the day and my inbox has been getting slammed. Since clearing space at the end of the last comp have had it max'd out 3 times since, Anyhow, if anyone has been trying to msg me while I was crashed out can try again now.

As for Yeats question, I think I get what you are saying, that if a performer joins a previously formed band can the material of that band that was done prior to that performer joining be used? Think that's what you are asking?

My ruling is that you wouldn't be able to use a studio recording of the song, but if you have a live recording of the song then that is perfectly acceptable. For example, Ronnie Wood joined the Rolling Stones in the early 70's, so using the original recording of Satisfaction (for example) wouldn't be eligible, but live performance of the Rolling Stones performing that same song with Ronnie Wood as part of the band IS acceptable.

Does that clear it up?

(For reference sake, noone has picked the Rolling Stones, but just used that as an example.)
