Sadly, while Tame Impala have certainly opened a few ears to their tunes here, introduced me and others, and its been pretty cool, this is as far as they will go this time. Thanks Mr Duke, though for bringing something completely new - to me at least, lol. One last blast...

Well done @Raoul Duke, I loved Tame Impala. Very much like MGMT and the late Beatles. I lost myself in that song for this round

Heard a few of Tame Impala songs before but definitely going to listen through their albums now I've heard a few more, great chilled out music to listen to.
    Unlucky Duke.

Wow I thought the way you introduced that Tame Impala had won it. Unlucky Raoul, they are an excellent band. I think you were up against tough competition though. :lager:

    Congratulations Wolfmother, well done :50:

So we come to Silverchair and The Church.

    By a score of

    36-24

    Congratulations

Are the 3rd band safely through to the Final 4. Well Done!

Which means it is indeed the end of the road for the Church and Swerve. :(

The Church are a band I've known very well for a very long time. In fact, Marty Wilson-Piper often used to be a regular at one of the venues where my band would be playing, always very friendly, down to earth and full of all sorts of good advice. Listening to them again through the course of this has brought back so many memories, so it is personally sad to see them knocked out here, but not before signing off with one last signature tune...

    Well done Silverchair! :notworthy

Sorry Taz! I was undecided about whether to play that song or not as it's their greatest hit I'm sure? Seems like I should have but Silverchair's song was excellent. I kinda knew I was out when I heard it. Sorry I couldn't take them further but it was great getting to know their stuff. Quite a wide variety of tunes. They sound like really cool guys too from what you say.

This is the furthest I've ever got in BOTB though! :)

After the first 9 votes, there was a serious gap beginning to open up with 5 votes still to come in.

The Easybeats were clearly ahead, by a margin of 20-15. One vote later, it was all level, 20-20.

It would come down to the last 4 votes.

In the end, there was just 4 points seperating the two.

    In a Final score of

    32-28

    Congratulations to

Took a bit of a risk this last round, but am sure still has plenty of ammunition up their sleeve, but given who is left in the competition there are certainly no easy beats from this point on either.

Unfortunately for Drakhan this is the end, but not going anywhere without one of the anthems of my every Friday night.

Which brings us to the Semi-Final Draw.

This was done on Random.org earlier today, although, I didn't save it before my computer crashes (good going, me), but the draw of the Final Four sees these as our 2 Semi-Finals...
