    Ahh, if only the Pixies were Australian. :( Looking forward to seeing them in December.

    Going way back to 1991, had a ticket to see them when they were due to tour Aus, and then they first postponed and later broke up without ever coming to Aus. Devastated. Thought I'd never get to see them, and that ticket sat in the CD case of Doolittle to this day. Actually got it signed by Joey at a Martinis gig in Las Vegas years later. When the Pixies reformed in 2004, flew to Canada and then followed them on tour for about 2 weeks there and in the US, seeing them about 6 times before the Coachella Festival. Good times. :)

    Wow that is how to make up for not seeing them live the first time. One of the all time greatest bands, I believe they invented a whole new genre of music by themselves. Glad you caught up with them :50:
