    My teenage years ran right through the 80's mate I turned 16 in 1984 and it just got better. I loved the 90's as well tbf (football aside) I believe I was lucky to have 'grown up' during those decades.

    Bhoy, was this a close one for a stretch! This tie sat at a draw for a good few votes until the eventual winner stretched their lead. They managed to cope Under Pressure...

    This tie wasn't so evenly matched and we saw a convincing victory. I must admit, I wouldn't have predicted this artist reaching the final upon submission, but they have put on a stellar showing and this was a fantastic semi win.

    I had to roll out the big hits from round 1 after being drawn with Queen, Simple Minds and INXS. Three of my favourite bands ever. To be drawn against Queen again in the semis was just rotten luck but I couldn’t have been beaten by a better band. Gotta love a bit of Freddie. Good luck to the finalists and goodbye from Tears For Fears and thanks for the votes everyone. :50:

    Tears 4 Fears were my number one choice, not a band I was really into at the time but their music has really stood the test of time much more than some 80s bands.. :50:

    TFF did make that SF closer than it probably should have been, good job in making it as close as it was. New Order still have so many great tracks up their sleeve, like Temptation, Bizarre Love Triangle & Ceremony, to name a few. Get why they were being held back, but it's a shame they won't get a hearing in this comp now. :(

    Good shout taz but I had used temptation in a previous round. Looking at what was left,I probably would have gone with shellshock, round and round and 1963. Just I bit of fun with like minded people, love it lol.... oldfartcsc :50:
