He was poor in one of the last B team games I saw him in, think it was the cup final, but if we've been playing him out of position for whatever reason, I wouldn't hold it against him, especially with more recent reviews of his performances down south.

Was it definitely him? Not saying it wasn’t but I remember before in the colts thread people slating him saying he looked * (think it was a cup final) and he wasn’t even in the squad :giggle1: Agbaire another black lad with the exact same hair was playing Cb and everyone thought it was Bosun hahha

Good chance for him in pre-season, could be a really good utility player for us for midfield & defensive cover.

I'd like him to get 6 months at Killie or St. Mirren maybe..

    But, we'll assess him pre-season.

Scales showed what a good pre-season and bit of luck can do but a loan in the league would be a good option as well for him.

It was the 3-3 game with the colts on 10th May I mean, Glasgow Cup final. Went to penalties and we won 4-3. Was definitely Lawal, had a read at the thread again there as remember posting at the time.

Aye, for some reason we tried to convert him to a CB, when all the plaudits were for his midfield performances. Thankfully he's been playing in the midfield.

He's not really a DM either, more an 8 I think.

Glasgow cup final I think, he was absolutely dog *, we were 3 up and he was at fault for at least 2 goals leading to it going 3 all. He took a good penalty but he didn't look comfortable as a centre back

Yeah, wasn’t sure but there was another game he was getting roasted on here and my brother showed me the squad and he wasn’t in it hahha it was agbaire but fair enough. Not sure why we sign players then try convert them to a different position only ever heard good things about him in centre mid. Maybe he was shifted back for a slight lack of pace but he’s shown he’s better in the middle

It worked with Ajer and was a failed attempt. As soon as Brown left Fleetwood he was moved to midfield.

Aye I remember he kept charging out from the back straight at their players, was weird.

Not surprising he was uncomfortable when he's not a centre back so if he's performing well now, hopefully we get that idea out our minds.

Took a while with ajer though he was quite raw for a couple of seasons and got caught out a lot positionally, came very good then towards the end. Could’ve been better in cdm though who knows. But even with the likes of bitton etc who was actually a decent cm he was so bad at cb then eventually when he moved back to cm he was bad there after playing as a cb last couple of years haha

I thought Button was alright in his final season, he shouldn't have played CB but I don't blame him for that.

I don’t blame him but he was gick there but that’s what I’m saying I don’t know why we try convert so many players out of position

Actually quite looking forward to seeing him in pre-season. Thought he looked like a carthorse before but he was playing in a position that doesn't suit him and he was obviously young.

By the sound of it, his loan spell at Fleetwood wasn't just a good one. Sounds like he was immense and one of the best players in the league.

He was * in a few games, that’s cause he was playing centre half. Like others have said he was utter mince.

glad he been playing centre mid and maybe another wee cheeky loan will sort him out for first team football

He’s absolutely not a centre half by any yard stick but be interesting to see him in the centre of midfield. On paper he’s currently what we’re lacking there albeit as raw as can be.

He might even surprise Rodgers on how he has grown with the loan.

If he’s going to be a fringe player I would rather we do loan him out for his development and not sitting on a bench.
