Yeah, not saying he should be walking into the team here, but clearly standing out in a * team in a * position is a good sign.

Physicality and fight is exactly what we are missing in midfield, I think he would bring both in abundance.

You clearly need talent too but if someone can do the defensive / dirty side, it allows the likes of McGregor and O’Riley to get the ball down and play.

Hopefully he’s given a chance in midfield during pre season.

Surprised he’s not been playing every game for us last couple of seasons. #NepotismFC

I really want a physical midfielder in the team.

It’s been * years since Wanyama.

He’s been playing more as an 8 than a 6 I think. Strong physical lad that can play ball though. I’d love to see him get a chance there for us. Maybe he could be the 6 still n push cal up

Doesn’t have to be a 6, just physical. We miss it badly.

Not saying Lawal should be that player but see if we want to play McGregor as a 6 our other two centre midfielders should have a physical presence or at least one of them for sure.

Most teams that play a smaller tempo setting 6 tend to have other physical players to compensate. Where both Bernardo and O’Riley are tall and good at nicking the ball back I don’t think either are that type. Some who was physical and can carry the ball would be ideal in there.

I like the look of Tochi Chukwuani at Lyndby in Denmark and an unders international for that sort of physical 8 but Lawal would be worth a look, Kwon seems to be playing that sort of role too at St Mirren.

Would like to see him get a chance at some point. He has the attributes I want in a midfielder.

It could save us a fortune #LawwellCSC

Yeah I getcha mate lawal seems to be a big physical player who can play ball, dribble, beat a man and pass so im gonna try watch a couple of their games while he’s still there. I like the look of kwon from the clips I’ve seen of him with st mirren and the reports so far on him have been good so good signs. With them two coming back for pre season next year and Iwata hopefully fit will be 3 good strong midfield options to assess

Haven't seen a Celtic player just body a player like that in ages :giggle1:.

It really comes back to us not having a plan for players when we identify/sign them when we signed him as a midfielder with a lot of potential, never played him anywhere but as a centre back and then years later as soon as he gets a chance somewhere back as a midfielder he puts in his best performances.

Almost like our academy, youth coaching, pathway to the first team, football structure and overall development is an absolute shambles and ran by folk with little to no * clue with what they are doing.

But fear not, we gave the job to McManus and O'Dea - Celtic men afterall.

    Screamer.

This could be the making of him just like Notts County for McGregor.
