Boruc?

The thing is though his weight and more importantly his mind is affecting his performances.

He still pulls off the odd great save, but he's so much slower at getting down to them he's not making half the amount he used to.

Yes he's probably the best keeper Celtic have had, but that was years ago now, his form has been poor for a couple of seasons now. I thought at the start of the season he was coming back to his old self after saves like the one against Hibs, unfortunately it hasn't been consistent and his form is nowhere near good enough just now.

Maybe time on the bench to get his head sorted is exactly what he needs because just now he's making too many errors imo.

 

Zaluzka must be wondering what he need to do to get a game

If he makes mistakes that are costing the team big time...he must be dropped for a keeper on far better form.

You'll be saying it was the defences fault for him being 10 yards out of his goals for the Dunfermline goal yesterday next.

 

I just don't understand how you can blame one and not the other when they're both clearly to blame.

If Zaluska comes in and makes big mistakes in SIX games in a row like Boruc has done, then he should be dropped aswell, for Cervi even.

 

the guys in charge thinks hes crap, they did not buy him, and they don't rate him, its king Arthur we all want. and new defenders to make Arthur's, job that bit easier, half the time they are in Arthur's road cant see nothing for them, we are better sticking with someone who the management trust. the new defenses will stop the rot. so give Arthur

i never said i didnt blame the 2! boruc has made mistakes aye! but as much as that defence of ours? no. the goals lost yesterday were shocking and thats down to the defence not closing down quickly enough of picking up.also boruc needs to help organise the back aswell! but saying stuff like drop him sell him,too fat . too slow blah blah! is crap. to me he has had a dip in form but i still think boruc being down in form is better than zaluska! who i also think is a good keeper.

 

six weeks ago i would have agreed with you. not now m8. his form is dreadful and a message needs to be sent.

CERVI???? hahahahah that guy is un tested! you honestly want to put him in if boruc gets dropped! zaluska comes in and after 6 games gets dropped for making mistakes? and bring in cervi? who has never been in this position before at a big club going for the title in important games! so who do you bring in if cervi fails then?

 

crying out loud! because he is our best! simple as that. he is in the spotlight mre because he is a goalie! goalies tend to get moaned at more cos they are the last man of defence dont they. sort that mediocre defence out 1st and you will see better results from him.to me dropping our best just now is ridiculous.

 

Being fat or slow does mean something though if people think it's affecting his game. I don't think Zaluska would do any worst than Boruc has done so far and I'd put him in ahead of Boruc at the moment because I think Boruc is playing poor and in the vain hope that it might motivate him to find his 05-07 form.

 

Well if we have hypothetically 2 keepers who are constantly making mistakes then why wouldn't we give him a chance?

Don't know why you're constantly saying 'If' Zaluska/Cervi fail...bottom line is that Boruc HAS failed this season with the amount of mistakes he's made!

What does he have to do to get criticised in your book? Throw the ball into the net at Ibrox?


You're clearly putting your affection for the guy above the sake of the team, and that's the wrong thing to do. I don't give a * if it's the Holy Goalie or the Jewish Goalie in goals........I just want our most on form keeper between the sticks.......and that's certainly not Artur.

 

i tell you what gaz! you get me up all the stats that prove he was responsible for points lost! 100% his fault ? and see if i chnge my mind

 

in training zaluska might be leaking goals, maybe aiden is scoring against him who knows.
