Can't fault Boruc today, thought he actually saved us from conceding much more.

Boruc was caught sleeping on the wrong side of the goal with the first goal

To lose four goals in one game is not good, no matter how you dress it up.

Boruc is the last line of defense but a lot on here expect Boruc to perform miracles every week when the midfield and defense do he haw to help him out ,that last goal today summed it up ,losse ball and three players on the line and not one came out to attack it ,but Boruc gets the blame .

stoogie02: It only shows that you dont understand my message and dont realise the true football world. My message is that the best worldkeepers in the world are only so good because they have not to do so much on the field when they became one or two maybe three shoots on the goal its okay for them but not for example 10 shoots. When we won three championships in a row the whole team played good specially the defenders mcmanus and caldwell were very strong. The last season and now we have no defenders in there! Its normal then that a good goalie become more goals.

Boruc made some very important saves today. I've been one of the people who want him dropped but I couldn't fault him today. He saved us more than once.

No offence, but McManus & Caldwell have received plenty of stick from supporters even during the 3 in a row league titles, I'm a lifelong Celtic supporter, & I don't like to get on players backs, but what games have you been watching where Caldwell & McManus played especially well?
They're average defenders at best, can't question their commitment, but neither are accomplished, reliable defenders.
My point was that Boruc was the rock that our team was built on, he was the best & most consistent keeper we'd had in decades.
Over the last two years, his form has dipped, he's made loads of mistakes & personally I see him struggle to get to crosses & shots that 2 years ago he would have gathered easily.

I love the fact you say I don't understand the true football world, personally mate, I think you're looking at Boruc through rose coloured spectacles, if he's still so good, why has his position as Poland's first choice keeper been under question?
Don't forget mate, his performances all season & for the large part of last season have been suspect, even with Caldwell & McManus playing in front of him.

He was better than usual yesterday but to say he was outstanding is pushing it, his positioning was dodgy for Mackie's goal, he should have saved the penalty with a stronger touch and was lucky we didn't concede a penalty after stupidly jumping on MacLean.

It was a decent performance, but the old Boruc wouldn't have conceded 4 goals, his performance is bound to be overrated by some as it's been such a long time since he's actually made a few decent saves.

One swallow doesn't make a summer, let's see how he does in the next few games.

Nearly isn't good enough in football mate.

The old Boruc would have saved that, infact, I can't remember the last time he saved a penalty? Shows his shot-stopping and agility has vastly deteriorated as he used to be awesome at saving them.

Disagree, in his first season with us he'd have saved two, maybe three of their goals yesterday.

But it is a pretty good indicator of how far we have fallen that these comments come on the back of a game where we played Aberdeen and shipped 4 goals!!

Get Zaluska in and let Boruc get some splinters on his * on the bench.
Maybe that will spark him back to something like his best again.

:56: Have you watched us this season at all?

He's cost us far more points than he's saved.
