personally i think boruc shouldnt have done it, although if he is hammered then i think celtic should refuse to give rangers fans tickets for parkhead from now on. the vile songs they sing cant be tolerated no longer and if the sfa wont hammer them then why should we let them sing it in our own backyard.

 

* them! Boruc should do absoloutley nothing to change what he does. Andy Goram got away with it for years. No one should stop being a Catholic or practicing Catholicism for anyone. What will happen is he'll get a fine, maybe a ban. But he'll be back, we WILL win the league again this season and beat Rangers at least twice in the process and then he can turn around and get it up them once more. You're completely missing the point here. What exactly has Boruc been investigated for? It's certainly not for being a Catholic so your rant is slightly misplaced.

Unless of course I've missed a papal edict which has now incorporated giving the finger as an act of faith!

The fact remains that yet again he was sucked into reacting to abuse. I agree that it's abhorrent what is happening but it's got to the point where this is now blatantly practiced and more importantly, blatantly ignored by both the SFA and the media. Yes there are a couple of voices in the print media who mentioned something but they're nothing more than whispers in the grand scheme of things. It's obvious that CFC are on a hiding to nothing if they complain so to be honest, it's up to the fans to do something and unless it becomes an organised campaign of written complaints to the SFA, Strathclyde Police and various media outlets then again, nothing will come of it.

I'd also wager that if video evidence existed of sectarianism or religious bigotry against Boruc and it was sent to UEFA in the framework of a well worded complaint then something would be done.
