Boruc already made an absolute class save that led to the corner so if it wasnt for him it would have been put in then as well as countless other times. Blameless for me. Thought he was outstanding and hopefully back to his best.

are you serious? or do you just not like boruc, he made 3 good saves before the ball 'landed' to edu, if you want to blame anyone in that bit of play what about braafheid ball watching he doesnt go to edu who tapped it in unchallenged or ki who lost bougherra to easily, to blame boruc is just rediculous if it wasnt for him we would have lost by a big scoreline at least 3 cracking saves

No it wouldnt. That shot was going wide.

I agree with you that Boruc wasn't to blame for the goal though.

I have to admit I’ve been quite critical of “ Fat Artur “ on occasions this season as I felt due to his physical condition it was costing us goals . But over the last 3 or 4 games I feel he is beginning to play well again and can’t in any way blame him for Sunday.:50:

I have been on Arthur's back on here this season, but credit is due for his performance on sunday thought the big man was great.

What ifs, there is so many in life, i should start a thread about bougerra,

If he never got sent off???????????????????????

    Don't wear this ata all!

Boruc, got behind a difficult ball to take- unfortunate that it spilt straight to Edu!!

One that I am not blaming the Holy Goalie for!!!!!!!!!!:84:

Well, if you did/do work at the daily ranger it would explain why you're so keen to put the boot into Boruc, who most people think was man of the match vs the huns, i'll bet if we take a poll at least 80% of people won't blame Boruc.

    Was Boruc at fault?

Minty thinks the Holy goalie was to blame for the huns goal on sunday, i strongly disagree. What does everyone else think?

It's done and dusted IMO and doesn't really matter who was to blame.
The goal made very little difference to the title race anyway. A point was no good to us- we needed the win.
Boruc had his best game in a long time and think pointing the finger at him is pointless and very harsh.

In my opinion, Boruc played fantastic on Sunday. He wasn't at fault for us losing the game, if it wasn't for him we probably would have got a real hiding.

However, Boruc did cost us the goal at the end.

He was * man of the match by some distance!! So why even mention it, if he was to blame he still miraculously stopped about 3 more certain hun goals going in.

Why do so many Celtic fans seem to have a vendetta against probably the only celtic player existing with talent?

Moreso, he seems to be the only player with a bit of passion. He was the only player last Sunday that I seen with a bit of raw passion in his face.

Awkward ball for him to take, but he should have done better. However, we would have already been out of the game by then were it not for him, so i'm not going to point the finger. Back post defending was poor as well, with Boogy not picked up properly.

Plenty of blame to go around, but for sure, Artur would have been annoyed at not dealing with what was a difficult situation slightly better than he did.

Been thinking about this (and other stuff) since my last post, so i voted "yes." It seems like a lot of folk have voted "no" perhaps because of his efforts for the remainder of the game...looking at it as an isolated incident, however, i think he should have done better.

    That's actually a reasonable observation.

I still don't blame Artur for the goal though.

    Too many to name.
Who allowed the ball to get anywhere near Boruc? Look closer to the defence and midfield if you're looking to lay blame. Artur made some stunning saves in the match or it would have been a far more embarrassing end result.
