Boruc was at fault for the goal on Sunday

I pretty much described a second by second commentary on the build up to this goal from the moment we conceded posession in the huns half , yesterday in the official match thread , but definately blamed the build up to the corner as being where the main fault lyes in our players for allowing it to even get that far.. Or maybe Dougie McMason should have given a free-kick to Kamara seconds earlier than that..

The only bit in that video that actually angered me was when Samaras misplaced that pass..ran forward and done a wee girly jump...givin that it was in injury time, why the * wasn't he chasing that ball?

 

Wasn't it Boruc that shot Kennedy as well?

I think considering Boruc was by far our best player on the day, you need to relax and give the guy a fecking break. It could have been 2 or 3 goals to the huns if it was not for Boruc that day.

Nah, I'v been a strong critic of him in recent months (Deservedly so) but he was blameless on Sunday IMO.

 

Artur saved us on Sunday on plenty of occassions to blame him for the goal is madness what about Ki who doesnt close Bougherra down quick enough ?

 

boruc was one of the few positives from the performance on sunday
100s of other things that should be being moaned about before this.

Not a chance Boruc was at fault for the huns goal. As said by most on here he was our best player on Sunday and he was hung out to dry on that corner. A corner which came about after we failed to clear a ball in our own box and Boruc had to make an excellent stop down low by his near post.

 

I think if you have never been between the posts these shots sometimes look pretty easy to save, but they ain't. it was a powerful shot from a near distance but the most important thing is it bounced on the ground right before him, made it almost impossible to catch.

He couldn't have done any better, therefore there is no mistake.

plus a 0-0 would have been as bad as a defeat. we needed to win this game and we failed to do so. it won't matter if this game ended 0-0 or 1-0 at the end of the season.

For me boruc was outstanding on sunday!
