    Much as ui think Boruc is a great keeper and the best in my lifetime (sorry Packie), if we get offered 6m for him then I'd take it and spend 3.5m on getting Gordon in. He's younger and probably better IMO. Although he's not as nuts as Artur, you can always rely on the Pole to do something interesting, it'd be good to have a Scottish spine to the team.

    Fifa are about to introduce a minimum number of national players in your team of 5. Having a high quality keeper who was also Scottish would be a very sensible purchase.

    Well I think no matter where Boruc goes he will do ok, but not anymore than ok.
    We have needed a backup for him anyway one he may get injured and two to give him competition.

    There isnt really, but people are becoming convinced he wont stay if Newcastle stay struggling.

    Given signed a new contract this season with Newcastle but i think he's not going to rock the boat there because he's loyal to Newcastle. Other clubs like Man United and Arsenal who'll need younger keepers soon will come after him and make it very difficult for Newcastle to keep him, very

    Also, there is no doubt that he's a world class keeper and he's wasting there

    To be fair if ye can get 6mil for Boruc considering what he cost us and ye can get the likes of this Fabianski or Gordon for a lot less than that,than it's sound business to do that.2 quality players for the price of 1.

    ManU has already signed Kuszczak. There is no reason for them to go after Boruc since Kuszczak is on the same level. Could be Arsenal, but I wouldn't like to see him there, not mentioning Chelsea.

    On the subject of Gordon and Given person who wrote that Given is in world top3 of keepers has a good sense of humor. These players are almost unknown outside Britain, so maybe someday they could become, but surely are not now among best keepers.
