You'd think that but no doubt we'd be pillaged for bout 5 or 6m

Lets hope not, first solid keeper in a long while, great foundation for a constantly improving team, helps to have a keepr you can trust behind you.

I think Artur will go to the EPL eventually - like 2 or 3 years, im sure he said he wanted to play there at some point.

He saves a penalty and all his other mistakes are quickly forgotten.

His concentration level can be suspect

He can be slow to come out of his box when needed

He flaps at crosses all the time

He is a good keeper by our recent standards, but he has been lucky that his mistakes haven't mattered too much.

    * - Gordon should be better then Boruc??? Surely not!!!

Anyway fact is Boruc will leave, sooner or later!!!

Celtic can have a good transfer fee and eyes allready Fabianski. He is the polish no. 3 keeper in the NT.

    BTW, Chelski also eyes Boruc!!!

Chelsea already have the best keeper in Britain - Petr Cech

I'm not going to lie to yous and say I watch every Hearts game but I have no doubt in my mind that Boruc is a far better keeper than Gordon and if Boruc was to go (depending how long was lefted in his contact) would be £10M

Q.Did Boruc win more points then Petrov last season?

    A.yes

Cech has had a quiet couple of seasons due to injury and having a superb back 4 but Boruc is defintely better than the likes of Reina, Lehman, Van Der Saar:celt_2: :shamrock:

I admire your Celtic bias, but there is no way any club would pay 10m for Boruc. That is just pure fantasy.

I would value Boruc at less than half of that. I'm not down on the guy, I like him and want him to stay with us for a long time to come, but I'm being realistic.

Take off your green tinted specs

He'll be back eventually, and is young enough to fully recover.

Greendave, you're not giving Boruc enough credit, you make him sound like an average keeper. He is internationally apreciated, and that's coming from someone who's outside of britain and has heard unbiased oppinions. Gordon has the potential to be better than Boruc, but at the moment he's not, he's unexperienced and makes alot more mistakes than Boruc. Artur has yet to * up in a big match and you could count his mistakes on the fingers of one hand.

greendave, there are very few "perfect" keepers nowadays who committ only very few mistakes. I would call them wordclass keepers, how I said, only a handful of men. You are right, boruc has got his moments and errors, but he makes worldclass saves as well. Not perfect, not wordclass, but very good. Big clubs spend lots of money on very good keepers, plus boruc could become worldclass one day.

I really like Boruc, I'm just trying to be realistic.

He has made plenty of errors and let in goals where he should have saved them, and his kicking is suspect. (Most recently at Dundee Utd and Killie, plus a hairy moment at St. Mirren)

He has been fortunate that his team mates have made sure none of these mistakes have mattered.

Gordon does not make as many mistakes, and I know he * up at CP, but in my humble opinion he is a better, steadier keeper.

Agree, but until he will come back a long time will pass!!!

Until he is away from a good form he won´t play and Chelsea is allways looking for the best they can get actually.

BTW - Boruc is worth so about 5 mio. €!!!

Here is the link to it:

That is a more realistic valuation of a very good goalkeeper.

If he did go to Chelsea as a cover for Cech, he wouldn't be too happy if he was benched once Cech recovers.

I don't want to replace him, I like him a lot, he is definitely the best keeper Celtic have had for a long time.

    But I don't think he is a 10m player.

That is exactly what I think, but I don´t think that Boruc will be happy to be the no. 2!!!

    Arsene Wenger will get him!!!

Fact is until summer is Boruc probably away!!!

The question is, who will replace Boruc and will be minimum so good or bad as he is - who???

I would try to sign Gordon, or if he wanted to try the EPL, I would bid for Scott Carson of Charlton
