Boruc, Forster or Gordon

Other than Rennes, can't think of any other Forster howler?

 

Wouldn't say he had any howlers either, just that he wasn't always the best at getting down for low shots.

 

Easy. Forster had two howlers against Rangers in the Scottish League Cup Final to Jelavic and Davis.
There are other examples.

 

There was a few at the start. Did he no gift Jellyfish a goal in a League cup final ? There was definitely a few at the start of his career that he might have got away with but there were plenty of mistakes that seem to have been forgotten because he was so much better later on.

Are you having a laugh? They aren't goalkeeping howlers.

 

Just sitting through that genuinely raging at them *, from us not getting penalty and then Jelavic's * dive the cheating *, hated the * out of that little * Weiss too. On topic there was no Forster mistakes, in fact that save he made from the free kick when it was deflected was good enough to make up for any mistakes anyway.

Totally fail to see how either of their goals can be described as 'howlers' from Forster. Complete hyperbole.

 

Boruc.

 

Forster the best we had IMO. But Gordon is the perfect man for the club, he aint going anywhere, forster was always a question when he would leave.

 

Struggled between boruc and Forster ...

Euro performances swung it for Forster.

In 3 years ( if still here) it may be different

But Gordon just not been with us long enough

 

Boruc at the top of his game was the best. But Forster was the more reliable. So Forster for me over their careers
Gordon has only been here a year so it's unfair to pit him against those 2

 

Boruc was different class in his first three seasons. Forster you could see him progressing after every match in his first season and he became a top player. Gordon was a great goalie and it was a risk signing him with his injury record, was one of our best players last season

there's several reasons to vote for the three but I went with Forster

 

One of the hardest questions ive seen on here , but gordon has had 1 good season when i think of mistakes and poor performance from the other 2 they had alot longer to * up more

 

At their peak it's Boruc.

Over the course of their Celtic careers it's Boruc.

Gordon still has to stand up in the massive games in Europe for me. Inter last year was a horror show that neither Boruc or Forster ever done at that level for us.

 

Boruc at his peak was brilliant, but he was always capable of doing something nuts. When he signed that new contract he just went * for some reason.

Forster was a little weak on crosses.

Gordon got us through a couple of the Europa League matches. Inter was crazy but i just think that he's so calm and the defence pretty much know what he'll do in any situation which is better for them. His kicking is a touch of a worry but that is the only concern i have of him.

Boruc
Forster

But we've been lucky to have all 3 compared to Douglas, Marshall, Kerr etc..

 

Meant to vote Gordon but selected Forster by mistake, 3 great keepers but Gordon just shades it for me

 

Forsters rise was incredible to watch, he seemed to get better with every match.

 

Forster for me he's progression from he's first season to his last was remarkable. If he wasn't injured right now I think he'd be England's no.1 at this point. While Boruc had some amazing performances in europe they don't come close to forster against barca home and away. Two unbelievable performances.
