    So it looks like he,s gone going by these reports, i think its a silly move on arturs behalf, fiorentina>???? we are bigger than them much bigger imo


    Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc has joined Fiorentina, according to a number of sources throughout Italy, including violanews.it.

    The Polish international's arrival will fuel speculation that current number one goalkeeper Sebastien Frey is heading for a summer exit.

    "Goalkeeper Artur Boruc is a Fiorentina player. The deal was secured by [sporting director Pantaleo] Corvino for just under €2 million since his contract expired in 2011," Sky transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio told Radio Blu.

    "He will sign a two-year contract, but his arrival, at least for the intentions of the Viola does not necessarily mean the departure of Frey."

    Since moving to Celtic in 2005, the 30-year-old made over 150 league appearances for the club and became an irreplaceable member of their starting XI. He won three league titles during his time in Glasgow and also featured in the 2006 World Cup for his country.

    Strange move if true, Italian football is * atm, and Fiorentina are not even up there as far as Serie A is concerned. He would have been better off not moving or going elsehwhere.
