    I am actually more gutted to see Boruc go than I was Larsson.

    They have sold the player with the best attitude and heart. Boruc was really the only player I could say I truely liked.

    Was watching that 'football years' on ITV1 and just shows what a poor keeper can do to a club. In my honest opinion Douglas lost us the Uefa Cup and League that season. We would have had both if Boruc was in goals, i'm almost certain of that.

    Just hope we don't end up with another Douglas between the sticks. I know Zaluska seems fully competent but I'm still wary of him unlike most.

    i was gutted when he left, but to be fair, he made a lot of the same mistakes zaluska has made since he left, im guessing lennon was expecting to get westwood or something...

    hopefully forster can fill the boots (gloves) for now

    I'm not holding much hope for Forster. A third choice keeper for a team just recently out of the championship, that's what Boruc's replacement is, *' shocking.

    it was supposed to be westwood, i wouldve been over the * moon if we got RIOs next #1,

    no way were getting him now without a big bid, and what would be the point in bringing in forster if we were going for another keeper

    ill stay optimistic, but our defense is now WAY worse as forster is a rookie and zaluska CANNOT organize his defense (which was something boruc was very good at)

    In fairness Alsy, after all the big fella's done for us, we could hardly scupper his move to Italy & force him to see out the last 12 months of his contract.

    I miss him too, but life goes on.
