Reading James Ellroy's Bloods a Rover, very complex and unique Ellroy style. Also going through a pile of James Patterson and Lee Childs as well.

Reading Tommy Coopers biog which is a little dry, given the subject matter.

Read 'Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas' brilliant book, really funny. Think they got the film adaption spot on. Also read '*' (Trainspotting sequel) and it was also superb. Couldn't put it down, especially when reading the Begbie parts of it...hilarious!

Peace by Ordeal by Frank Pakenham (a.k.a. Lord Longford)

It's from years ago and includes accounts of the Anglo-Irish Treaty :50:

I got two books on the go at the minute
    1. Sh*t my dad says
    2. Frankie Boyle

1 is pretty hilarious, don't think it has translated as well after watching one of the shows they made based on the book though with William Shatner

2 Some outrageous bits of comedy in there and at time i'm wondering whether it's true what he has written or complete made up bollocks. Interesting read nontheless

Also, anyone got a kindle? Thinking about getting one, keyboard version going for about £75 just now with doesn't seem too bad

Finished reading Lee Evans autobiography the other week. It was alright. Not a big fan of autobiographies though Slash's was pretty good. Best book I've read I think I Am Legend or Lord of the Flies. And of course was a Harry Potter geek growing up :icon_mrgreen:

:50: Great entertaining book. And when you think about the things Brooks writes, it all makes perfect sense too.

My all-time favourite book is To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Had to read it for my GCSE English exam but thought it was excellent. The film's good too.

Favourite author is probably Chuck Palahniuk.

Someone had recommended Bobby Sands' "One Day in My Life". Fantastic read. I could not put it down. Highly recommend... Because of that I just started "Nothing but an Unfinished Song: The Life and Times of Bobby Sands".

On a lighter note, I am also reading "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter".
