Started reading La Biblia Sacra on my phone (Latin-English bilingual text). As Tim-Time said earlier, quidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur. Haha.

A good book for it's time.
Years since I read it, but remember Dumphy telling about ripping the * out of a young kid who was just breaking into the Milwall squad ..... Gordon Hill, who went on to play for Man.Utd and England.

Thinking of buying Chopper Reed's books. Love the film, guy is one crazy crazy *.

Read the three Paul Ferris books and the Arthur Godfather Thompson book. All superb reads. Read Tam McGraws as well another good read.

Any recommendations on good true crime books?

The Chopper ones are Ok but there are loads and they are all basically the same.

The Soho Don. : Michael Connor
Sam Millar on the Brinks *
Cocky The Rise and Fall of Curtis Warren
Boss of Bosses. How Bernardo Provenzano saved the Sicilian Mafia
Paul Williams .The Rise and fall of Ireland's most dangerous criminal gang *
The Curse of Brinks Mat. 25 years of murder and mayhem
The Westies inside New York's Irish Mob
Black Mass: The story of the FBI and Whitey Bulger *
Moody: The Life and Times of Britain's most notorious hitman.
Killing Charlie : The *, bullet riddled Hunt for the most powerful great train robber
Vendetta: The Mafia , Judge Falcone and the Quest for Justice.*

    * Denotes the ones I think are the best.

Good list mate thanks. Will definitely be getting a few of these, all cheap on Amazon if you buy them used.

Seen this book before after watching Boardwalk Empire and looking up Mafia books. I'll put it on the list.

    Cheers lads:50:
