    Just wondering something.
When those type of books get ordered, will the authorities have them flagged up and you get put in a list to keep an eye on.

really is quite funny, but explains the culture he has been living in all his life, that his actions will be ignored and he has to face no ramifications for anything he says or does. Non golfers will like it, but those that play golf will be absolutely * gobsmacked lol.

Don Winslow's narco books are sensational. As is The Winter of Frankie Machine, which was close to being filmed. Can't recommend his books enough

Also re reading the brilliant Robert Crais Pike and Cole novels.

I started writing seriously in 1992 and finally had a publisher say yes in 2007. That book was published in 2010.

I've had five novels and one authorised biography published now, with two more novels contracted, but it took a * long time and a shitload of rejections to get to here. If you want to do it you have to be prepared for the long haul and develop a very thick skin.

That said, nothing beats seeing your book on the shelf at an airport.

As for what I'm reading... has anyone read Wifedom by Anna Funder? It's about Eileen O'Shaugnessy - Orwell's first wife, and a work of absolute genius.

I'm about three quarters through and getting to that point where you cherish every page because you don't want it to end. Only happens in the very best of books.

I’ve written parts of 2 trilogy’s that are connected.
    They are Sci-fantasy.
Halfway through another book that is horror.
1 crime book that is part ghost story.
    All for adults
Another is children’s book set in prehistoric times.

Finished a book called “Boys Don’t Cry” about two young brothers who grow up in inner-city Dublin flats. Thought it was * tbh.

Started this last night and about 40 pages in.

Very good so far, it’s been pure dialogue but it’s done very well.

    Finished Cogan’s Trade.

Really enjoyed it, loved the dialogue and the tension. Will definitely read more of his stuff.

Started Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King, good so far.

    Finished Wifedom by Anna Funder.

If you're an Orwell fan, it's essential reading.
