Class, I'll have to give that a read. Love Doyle's stuff. Funniest writer I've ever read.

Badly written?! Give them a read, they're a blast. You'll fly through them.

I'm currently reading 'Republic of Thieves', third book in the 'Gentlemen *' series. It's good, not his best, but still very entertaining.

Finished a re read of Tim Pat Coogan's Where ever Green is Worn a kind of light overview via lots of anecdotes of the Irish disapora around the world. Interesting read with lots of little tid bits such as that in Argentina the team Velez Sarsfield is named after Patrick Sarsfield.

Finished a re read of Tim Pat Coogan's book 1916 where as well as running through the story of 1916 he puts forward the case of the links between the events that lead to the rising and the peace process of today post Good Friday agreement.

Aye I read it a while back and thought it was excellent. Suffered a little in the middle although the early stages and last third or so are superb. Constantly found myself just wanting to skip through to the end to see what the modern day would be like.

Just finished reading Tim Pat Coogan's Ireland in the 20th century. Very enjoyable and interesting read. Doesn't pull any punches when he needs to in it either.

Bret Hitman Hart autobiography. Half way though it and it's been a super read so far.
