Which one is playing him though? He is in no way a fan of Celtic; he was here all of 10 minutes, hardly had a happy time on the pitch and then gets pelters all over the shop from former team-mates and the manager who signed him as soon as we realised we were playing them. Too right I'd have played and I'd have loved it if I'd scored as well, if I was him. :smiley-laughing002:

I understand both why people would have booed him and why others wouldn't like to do it. I agree with Kenny - it was nothing really worth getting upset over.

Absolute disgraceful for him to be booed by the Celtic support - especially initially.

I'm not surprised Bangura ended up simulating as a big "get it right up ye ya shower a * arseholes".

Disgraceful show from a minority of our support.

I was at the game, i thought it sounded like mostly everyone booing him. Certainly everyone around me was booing.

I couldn't make it, so ended up watching it on the stream.

From what I could hear, it was like pockets of fans around the stadium booing. Irregardless, I thought it was disgraceful.

This sums it up for me.

I think given the build up to the game it was only to be expected that Bangura would get some boos. And following some of his antics during the game it's no surprise they got even louder.

I really can't believe people are seriously getting so worked up about it.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lawell is currently trying to work out a permanent move for Bangura to Elfsborg

The initial booing wasnt a "we hate you" boo but more to kinda put him off knowing its in his mind.. after he flew to the ground... "we hate you" boos commenced :56:

    I'm not picky.
How the * was it Celtic that put him in that position? It was the Elfsborg manager that should have kept him out the team because he knew the situation with Celtic being Bangura's club, but he chose to ignore that fact. In a way Bangura could have refused to play, but it ultimately lies with the Elfsborg manager and if he had had any respect he wouldn't have picked Bangura.

Yeah that sure put us in our place didn't it.

He could have played like a demon, skinned 10 * then score an overhead kick from the halfway line yet he choose to roll about the ground holding his face like a *!!

That'll teach us...we wont *' do that again

I found the booing odd more than anything else. I'm really not sure why anyone would care enough to get worked up about it. The whole thing seemed like a media created 'controversy' to create some excitement for an otherwise un-interesting game.

After his dive, fair enough. You do that you deserve what you get.

Bangura was just on SSN and the interviewer was asking how will you react/ feel if you score against Celtic and put them out and would he celebrate. His response; "what ya gonna do".

Get the impression the guy doesn't wana at for us again :p

Sky Sports News interview with Bangura was *, down to Bangura having a wee burd with him that kept almost trying to answer questions for him.

She was with him when he came was getting on the bus at Glasgow Airport aswell, she seems to have been paid to listen intently to reporters questions before going "no comment", Bangura must be incapable of this.
