Regarding the spending, I think it's extremely one-dimensional thinking that because we recieved £20+m, that we have to go out and splash cash on players.

Regarding the booing, because they pay doesn't mean they should be out booing the team after one poor result - smacks of utter petulance.

I think there being safe with the money. Loan and option to buy. They may work out like Forster and sorted. If not were not stuck with a bangura £2m dud.

People act like we lost 0-3 to a Hibs team at home. We drew, so what? What the * do I care if we lose points now when at the end of the season we will be lifting the trophy once again.

lot of people seem to be unable to understand and realize the situation we are in. there has never been a season when we were allowed to lose more points than now. we have the ultimate chance to build something, but for that we will be taking experiments which will cause a few defeats or draws.

to cut a short story long: don't * cry all the time and enjoy the party.

Didn't boo myself personally but if people are paying £550 like me, then they've got a right to voice their own opinion.

It was a poor performance & their first goal was school boy stuff.

Didn't boo, didn't applaud just got up and left at full time totally perplexed that this game wasn't won in the first half. I think we can expect a few games like this after CL midweek games.

Of course it would be great if every game was a sell out but how many teams in Britain this season do you think will sell out most games?

I think it is odd that people rubbish an attendence of "only" 45k or so. Why would you expect a sell out when we are in the midst of an economic recession? Other than a few years when we were spending millions each year and people had more spare cash than every before have we come close to selling out most games throughout our history.

Why not aim your displeasure at the board in that case rather than booing a young team after a draw against a team 2nd in the league?

Booing is an embarrassment. Even more so when you take into account the circumstances.

I think if you don't boo a bad performance, you are making life easier for the management and board, and that can breed COMPLACENCY and players then think we don't care, and are not to bothered about what result we get. how many times over the years have we seen our team not turn up, to me if they get booed a lot more, they would soon get to understand what is expected of them.

We won the league last year, The Rangers are in the 3rd Division, and we're in the Champions League.

That must hurt you, mustn't it? Well slap it right into yourself :celt_2: You are such a loser.

Agree with every word. Considering the kids on show and the level of performance (besides the two sloppy goals) in a game that, if we're honest, we should have won by two or three we should be encouraging them more than ever. When we have midfields of Twardzik and Irvine then we are going to drop points, that's just the way it is, but in this league now we have been afforded the right to play these guys in games like yesterday's and that can only be good for their future.

Come May next year we'll still be lifting the trophy so who cares if a few bits of sloppy defending cost us a few points in September?

Didn't hear any booing at the final whistle (113), so guessing it was a small minority. Either way, people need to be more patient, we had quite a few important players out with kids taking their place.

Dont think there was a need to splash the cash either. Couple of things to consider though. We didnt buy these guys for the CL. Surely not. To think that spending £1m and a loan player will get us through to the next stage is a joke. The players were signed for the SPL squad, which we have lost 12 of in the summer.

Secondly. We knew we had these injuries for at least a week in some cases, longer in others. Why did the board not get these players registered in time for yesterday? At least they could have been on the bench. And we should also have looked to bring in a few faces till at least Jan and our squad is back fit. 2/3 journeymen players to fill the gaps wouldnt have cost the earth.

We seen yesterday what may happen if we put too much expectation on youth.

Totally agree with the booing though. First time I have really heard that in some time. * disgrace.

There were only three guys who I would class as not first team regulars playing yesterday from the thirteen who played in the 90 mins. It's not as if we had our reserves out there against a strong Hibs.

Hibs have been rubbish for a while and I doubt they will be in the top three at the end of the season!

But my point is boo the board if you are unhappy with the board. Why boo the team in a week we have beaten ICT, qualified for the champions league and then drew against Hibs? I appreciate peoples right to do it, I just dont understand why they would do it or what there is to gain?

Whether it is daft or not football fans are emotional at times and don't stop to consider if what they are doing makes perfect sense! It is often just a reaction to a poor display or disappointment at the club not living up to people's high expectations.

I do agree the board are the real decision makers and are responsible for the gradual decline in quality on the park. I have seen a massive drop in fans expectations in the last five or six years, this has come from the board.

I can't believe people are spouting pish about our team lacking quality after we've just qualified for the UEFA Champions League.
