Yesterday was a good thing.....in a round about way..

Aye it would've been great if he smashed it but with KT going a day after he put in a horror show of a performance....it's now forced us to immediately act..

If he played well last night and KT still left, I imagine we'd still have dragged it out a bit..

Now we'll likely have a left back in by the weekend latest..

Still no writing Boli off by the way. Has to improve massively though..

 

Not letting him off for that performance as he was really bad, but he had an equally useless Morgan playing in front of him, which couldn't have helped the lad.

Morgan offered nothing defensively and was even worse going forward..

Part of the negativity around him last night also was we still don't know if we can trust him, 90% of fans were wanting him subbed as he got booked thinking he was going to be sent off. But had Ajer or Brown been booked nobody would have cared as we know theyre not daft enough to be sent off where as with Boli we dont know yet if he is the type.

 

He's not a defender thats obvious..

He will be dangerous when we have lots of the ball.. But against any decent opponent, even the Huns we need to play our new LB signing.. Which we absolutely need to purchase..

 

We know his timing in the tackle isn't great, that was the worry.

Not writing the boy off just yet but to say he needs to improve is an understatement. Lets give him a chance , hes only just signed. Ok, he had an absolute mare last night, but better players than him have had nights to forget in Europe whilst playing for us.

Lets get behind him next home game.

 

He’ll be great domestically but in Europe he’s way off it, back up for a quality left back please.

 

As well as Larsson's * start it also took John Hartson 11 games before he scored a goal for us. Stiliyan Petrov hardly started his Celtic career well either.

Far too early to write off Bolingoli for having a bad game, every player has a * from time to time. Didn't really help that Morgan in front of him was having a * of a game as well, he could have probably done with Sinclair's experience there instead.

 

I think he's in too much of a rush in everything he's doing. Give the boy a chance to settle into life here and hopefully he'll relax on the field and he'll realise he needs to show some composure on the ball. Some people can find playing for Celtic and the pressure that comes with it is too much. Hopefully that's not the case here and he proves his doubters wrong.

 

Be better with Danny playing.

 

Here's hoping the Celtic fans give him a proper chance and don't get on his back which they've done before and ruined players.
