Is he a different option to what we have? Yes. Is he going to improve the squad? No.

We leave it at that, take the £4/£5m and spend it on someone who will improve us.

I'd rather we fork out money on a Premier League reject who's form have nose dived the last couple of seasons than spend it on an proven goal scorer from our own league.

If you’re asking me who I’d rather see come on second half of the season between him and Oh, it’s Oh every time. That says it all.

His goal tally is much better than Oh and Kyogo this year in a poor team. At least we know he can score goals at this level. Less of a risk than other names out there

How would not having a second proven goalscorer improve the squad? Am i missing something?

Miovski who currently has a goal record of a goal every other game this season and effectively a proven goalscorer at this level…

He is exactly the type of striker we should have to back up and compete with Kyogo for a place in the side.

    We play one striker. Kyogo.

Is he better than Kyogo or more prolific than Kyogo? So he's not gonna replace him.

I haven't seen any like for like stats between Miovski and OH to compare, but OH has a very good goals to mins ratio. Best at the club if I remember rightly, so Miovski has a job on his hands to be number 2 striker.

That's one of our main problems. We have lots of squad players who'll flit in and out the team and match day squad. We should be aiming to replace Kyogo with better. As we should for every position.

Edit: just a quick scan found this...

Miovski has done it at a team that will have created far less chances than us and in a team that has went through real struggles in form this season. He is a better finisher than Oh for me.

Read the early pages of the Griffiths thread..

I think he’d be a similar sort of signing and he’d thrive here. His job is to score goals and when surrounded by much better players than he’s with at Aberdeen no doubt he’d be banging them in for us in abundance.I’m not even really advocating that we sign him but an injury to Kyogo or Oh and where are we at?

Get your point...suppose with Griffiths we paid almost 5x less than Aberdeen would want for Miovski. He at least had a bit of explosiveness about him too.

I just don't see us paying what they'd want or tbh even see them selling to us.

The sheep would sell to us no problem, they wouldn’t even have an option if that’s the move he wanted.

The issue would be extortion, he’s not worth upwards of 4 million and there’s every chance they’ll believe that’s what they’ll get for him.
