Would take him over Oh. If both had same amount of minutes in our team, I'd definitely fancy him to outscore Oh.

 

Would be a great move.

Can see him in Serie A in a few years.

We've already let about £150m or so wave goodbye without bothering on these shores when it was obvious they were good players.

Can tell a mile that all those saying no would say yes if it was a guy Milovski with all the same stats but playing for a NM team, would be giving it get him before someone else sniffs him out.

 

If we can get him for £3-4m, it's a yes from me.

 

I'm going to say No. Not because I don't think he's a good player because I like him, but I think spending £4m on a guy because both our strikers will be away on International Duty is too much. We should be looking to loan someone in come January because both OH and Kyogo will be back before the end of the month.

I also think it would mean the end of OH and I think we need to persevere with him. I really like him. I think you can see he's really got something about him.

If it was a choice between loaning in SVH with a buy option for the summer or spending £4m on Miovski, I'm going with SVH. I like both, though.

 

Be happy with this if it came through. He's looked good since he moved to Aberdeen. 3-4mill would be the limit tho imo.

 

Totally agree, if he was coming from Asia, with that goals record, folk would be creaming themselves.
We sign so many projects, reckon he would hit the ground running, nae settling in really. Just pay the money and get him on board.
I know some will be underwhelmed, but right now, we need a striker that put the ball in the net against your SPL dross-and he fits the bill, little risk. And he could kick on and come good.
Just see him as less risky than someone from Asia, for similar coin.

 

Think the only player from Asia that has cost similar to what Aberdeen would want, is Kyogo.

I don't think we should be spending any money on a striker right now. I think we need to look at a loan with buy option for the summer. Having 3 strikers, none of whom can really play in other positions, would be silly, in my opinion.

There's been plenty of strikers purchased from SPFL teams who haven't made it here. There have been some who have.

I also think for £4m? That's far from "little risk"... that's a significant investment. He'd be the second most expensive signing we have made in 3 windows, after Nawrocki.

 

I think Shankland would be a better option, would be cheaper and would help us with our Scottish quota for Europe.

 

I don’t blame Aberdeen for wanting £5m, it’s exactly what we’d be saying if we were a club in their position. I don’t think the comparisons with Broony’s are relevant because that was in 2008. £4.4m then is more than what £5m is now.

Wouldn’t be against him signing as cover and the wages won’t be an issue.

 

Would prefer SVH tbh but I suppose we know what we'd be getting with Miovski.

No matter how this situation pans out, you can be certain about 80% of online Tims will find a way to slate the club.

Personally I'd hesitate to pay over 4 million for the guy, but if we do buy him for that kind of money I'll be backing the lad by default and giving him the support he deserves.

Guarantee there will be some angry wee gremlins kicking about though.

 

Nah I don’t think so. Oh’s goals per minutes is actually very good. I think Mioviski is a decent player to be fair, he is a very good finisher and has got goals in a poor Aberdeen team. As another poster said though, I’m not sure he is mobile enough. That would be my concern with him.

 

Could do a job for us no doubt but id hate to think that this is the quality singings Rodgers was talking bout brining in,but i wont be surprised if this is the level we will be at when bringing in new players.

 

He's not of the standard required and would be just more expensive squad filler. He's pretty laboursome and actually misses a lot of chances, despite having nice finishes in his locker. Stats are padded by a fair number of penalties too.

I seriously hope this is just paper talk and we have our sights set on someone of a better calibre.

Typical Celtic this would be.

Spend a couple years wasting money on projects, to then over spend on someone who's not a project, but isn't very likely gonna be pushing our main striker on anyway.

Perhaps we could not spend £5m here, £2m there, £2m there and just spend you know, £7 mill on a striker that's actually good enough for us in Europe.


Should add, he looks a decent player, but at the noise Aberdeen will make (and did for that defender the other season), they'll be asking way too much for what we would he getting
