ASDA denied any truth in it.

You REALLY think a major company would change their entire branding because an area has a reputation for being a "Rangers area"... REALLY? Nobody in Scotland is THAT much of a *, nobody in Scotland is that idiotic! Its typical bog standard journalism from Scotland finest.

A Black Subway...seen loads of them including in Tenerife! Having been to Larkhall many times I can confirm that all Green traffic lights were in perfect working order, and no they didn't have Blue lights in place of the usual green lights.

Sensationalism and bullshit at its best!! Perhaps the only thing worse is people actually believe it?! REALLY?!?! :97:

Never seen a black subway in my life nor a blue Moss Pharmacy.

Is it so hard to believe that there is such a bigoted orange shitehole in this backwater? Plenty like it as well by the way - Harthill, Whitburn, Bridgeton, Armadale, Shieldhill etc etc to name a few.

Well like I said, having been to Larkhall its nothing like how its parade and I would suspect the descriptions of the places you mentioned are hugely exaggerated to suite either a green or blue agenda. :celt_2:

Have been to 4 of the places I've mentioned and have seen for myself what they are like.

No agenda, and no head in the sand.

No head in the sand here either. Just my own experience and not gullible enough to believe every word that's printed in a newspaper.

I'm not gullible enough to believe everything from a newspaper either, I don't even buy them.

My own experience tells me that Armadale, Whitburn, Shieldhill and Bridgeton are hun hellholes. I don't see why this is so surprising.

    I didn't read that in a newspaper btw :celt_2:

Larkhall too has a reputation as a "hun hellhole" however in reality that seems hugely exaggerated and stories about a Blue ASDA and smashed green traffic lights is utter nonsense.

I would suspect these other areas suffer the same ridiculous tales and stories.

Maybe Tesco or Sainsbury's might see this as a "sign" to get in there before Asda.

It really is a pathetic little place though. Smashing green lights, no shopping anywhere that's green. Neanderthalic place.

They did though. All green lights are now caged.

This is part of an article that is trying to be sympathetic to the residents of Larkhall.

I live in Larkhall. You'll notice all the green lights are now flat lights with small cages around them. They used to be normal but they were easy to jump up on and pull down.
