I watched the first leg on MyP2P and the footage was as good as it gets for a stream.
Tonights game shown on their schedule.

Would have been good to listen to some commentary on the radio at the same time tho. Instead of some Portuguese guy saying 'Mulgrew ha ha'

    MyP2P pal.

    Mon the hoops!:shamrock:

Not every Celtic fan in Scotland can get to the game, but i understand the tv coverage angle from the club, but no radio coverage is a bit much, they broadcast both legs of Motherwells europa qualifier but they can't put the celtic game, smacks of sour grapes by the BBC to me!!

Anyone know of any pubs in Belfast that'll have coverage of this game?

I don't think that the game being on the radio would deter folk who could go from being there, i can't imagine anyone thinking "nah i won't go tonight i think i'll just listen to it on the radio".

I personally think this is a diagrace, im form Belfast and for me to get to a game during the week i need 2 days off work due to travelling and tirdness when coming home along with £100 for ticket and travel on top of maybe another £50 - 100 for food etc. The club really need to get some type of arrangement in place fo this type of thing like a ppv on the website for certain games, its not fair on fans form Ireland who spend a small fortune on the club and get nothing in return unless we spend another small fortune to get to Celtic Park to see these type of games. I see where there coming from with wanting a full house but we all shoudnt suffer due to this, i love my club as much as anybody but to say im * of at this is an understatement. Anyway rant over cmon the * tonight bhoys hail hail.

I suppose if they had sold 50,000 season books it would have been broadcast but as they have only sold around 37,000, (someone may put me right about this number), i can understand them not wanting it on telly, still doesn't make it right though!!!

Well if it was on TV you would get some fans saying, ah al just watch it on the box (even though i and many others would rather be there) whereas if it isn't on the box or the radio, theyre mind is made up, they either get a stream or just go.

Just took the words out of my mouth.
    <o:p> </o:p>
If there were 50,000+ season holders this problem would not arise.
    <o:p> </o:p>
Why is there not that amount of season ticket holders? That is the real problem.
    <o:p> </o:p>
The more we see the figure fall, the more the blackouts will continue.
    <o:p> </o:p>
People are staying away because they feel the club is being run in the wrong way and they are sick of putting good money after bad.
    <o:p> </o:p>
The Boards answer to this is to say * you then, you’ll just not get to see it. A wedge is being hammered in deeper every year with the board and with the fans that are now not part of the family.
    <o:p> </o:p>
All the Q& A sessions don’t seem to be making a blind bit of difference , it looks as if it was a bit of PR advertising to encourage everyone to continue buying a Season Ticket and when it didn’t work they are now coming out with if you buy a season book then the Braga game’s free.
    <o:p> </o:p>
Not very bright I think as they made the decision to make a loss of £1Mil free entries and TV money for tonight’s game in the hope to gain more season tickets and maybe an extra 15 thou paying fans through the gate.
    <o:p> </o:p>
Something tells me that one would rather spend £28 rather than £500. Another example of poor management as they are due to make another loss with their decision making.
    <o:p> </o:p>
The main reason we have lost 25,000 fans (including waiting list) in the last 5 year is not because people haven’t got the money to go any more, it is because they have seen the club fall from a great height so fast and they are angry with the way it has been done.
    <o:p> </o:p>
40,000 fans from what used to be 65,000 (including waiting list) that is almost a 40% loss in fan base in the last 5 years. That is an incredible figure to be talking about.
    <o:p> </o:p>
Are we to say that a large section of us are just glory hunters or is it the fact they have just had enough?

I won't have it that the board are making bad choices for the club - look across the city and you'll see bad management at that level. Whether we like it or not we are living on our means, a means which has seen us outspend the rest of Scotland put together not to mention most of the clubs in the English Premier League.

Neil Lennon was everyone's choice as manager at the end of the season, nobody complained that much when Mowbray was made manager last season (despite the club going for other options first which we failed to achieve).

We are * but the board are not to blame, they can't spend what they don't have and as looks likely if we don't make it into the Champions League I think you'll see the bank debt rise significantly.

dont want to sound cheeky here mate but there are folk who will be working,or will get finished work at the back of 5 and no get home till 5-45(is why i cant go), or folk who cant afford it etc etc. that doesnt mean these guys arent less of a fan than you or anyone else that can go tonight.
